Well, I'm no longer on standby because I'm in recovery for my full-blown In Treatment Addiction of late. Besides, "Baby, you're much too fast ... and I need a love that's gonna last..."

April 2, 2008 -- CONTINUED
GABRIEL Byrne, super heated-up thanks to HBO's "In Treatment," likes pranks. Late one rainy cold Sunday night he concocted an emergency TV shoot and suddenly desperately needed his friend hairdresser Oscar Blandi. Blandi wouldn't come. Gabriel begged, promising big payment. Rain-soaked, cranky Blandi finally showed with his gear. Gabriel nonchalantly said the problem was handled and Blandi wasn't needed. The hairdresser went nuts. To placate him, Gabriel offered to buy drenched, furious Blandi an expensive dinner. They got into a cab wordlessly. The restaurant's maitre d' turned his back. When he finally turned around, it was Blandi's pal, actor Michael Keaton, who opened a door, and 100 of Blandi's best friends shouted "Surprise" while Batman led them in singing "Happy Birthday."
