Watch IT free online..

I dunno if anyone else has seen this, but it looks like fans can watch IT free online, both Season 1 and Season 2. There's the inevitable catch though, you have to answer some terribly adolescent surveys, and give up some personal info. I didn't sign up due to my paranoia about the personal info thing, but maybe someone else might be interested.
OR... maybe this is another way for fans to express their interest in the show for a possible Season 3 renewal!

I've been to this site, and I was skeptical about using it.

CAREFUL!... This looks like a crappy website. I tried doing it... The questions are stupid, but while you're doing this, this website is dumping all kinds of "cookies" which marketeers use to find out all kinds of information about you.

Elrico, the more I think about it the more I think you are right, that this site is probably nothing more than an elaborate data miner. That's why I didn't enter any of my personal info when I first found it. As far as cookies go, I use a Mac and can pretty easily dump all that stuff, so didn't worry about it at the time..

I also think that the best way to test the site would be via computers at the public library or an internet cafe, using web-based e-mail accounts, throw-away cell phones, etc. Kinda like playing spy-vs-spy, which hardly makes it worthwhile. Unless you're a rabid fan of IT who doesn't have access to HBO or the season 1 episodes, lol. I too would be curious to know if these videos even work..

The questions are stupid, but while you're doing this, this website is dumping all kinds of "cookies" which marketeers use to find out all kinds of information about you. CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO SEE A PICUTURE I put online myself. Notice (1,2,3)

(1) The official Pictured of HBO... I wonder if this is legal!... I can't belive HBO would let this website use theur picture... Huh????????????

(2) The questionaire

(3) The little "cookie" warning box" I get.

See web - questionaire - Cookie warning box"

If the picture does not look CLEAR enough, click on the picture with your mouse one more time... It will get bigger and really clear.

Most people don't see those "cookies." I see them because I have my IE set up so that I get the little box (SEE # 3) which asks me if I want to ALLOW or BLOCK the cookies (many). I saw tons of these boxes (which I blocked!) while I was answering the questions

It would be nice if someone - ANY VOLUNTEERS? :) - did the whole thing and see if they can actually see any of the shows on their computer.

I think it's possible to create a FICTITIOUS persona... but everything would have to match, address, name, cellular tel number, etc etc,

CAREFUL - CAREFUL - CAREFUL
