In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

I'm so excited about the flashback that I can't hardly contain myself. I can't wait to see him with Caroline. He loved her so much. I used to prefer Winter over Summer. But, since Bill sauntered into Merllotte's I now prefer Summer. Bill adds a new meaning to the phrase, hot days of
Summer.

That's what I figure, rclaurel. I'd hoped that if Bill is tortured that we'd get flashbacks/hallucinations. Hopefully this bodes well for all sorts of Bill goodness even though he'll be parted from his love.

This is pure torture. How are we supposed to wait till June? I was so excited when I heard about Lorena's return (not such a big surprise-but I just really loved the dynamics between her and Bill) and now this is Huge.
Can't wait to see more flashbacks. I wonder if BC will be remembering Caroline during his captivity.

I read her post on the NZ TB facebook page, she did seem really excited. I'm sure I wouldn't have had the nerve to ask, I would have peeked from around the corner and kicked myself forever after.

So this explains why I suffered thru every freakin literature/ English class I've ever had. It makes total sense. The whole 'consuming' reference. Jeeez SM, SMART and drop dead gorgeous. Thanks Lou for the info.

YVW. It's so funny, someone on another board got in touch with one of the girls in the photo. She said that since she posted it she'd been flooded with questions and requests for interviews all over the world. Ha! The SM/Bill fans are a hungry bunch.

I have been going crazy about this since I read it this afternoon!! How long have we wanted to see flashbacks with Bill and Caroline?

I figured he was talking about the scene in "Nothing but the Blood." Bill consumes Sookie, and then she shares in that with the bloody kiss. It's not technically her consuming him, but by sharing in the blood that nourishes him (and keeps her alive), that's quite a scene on many different levels.
Plus, I've always likened that scene to them kissing after...ahem...oral sex. It wasn't referred to as "bloody snowballing" for nothing!
And with that totally TMI reference, I'm on to another post. LOLOL

I'm tending to agree on that last part of this. The "consuming each other in bed" scene must have wound up on the cutting room floor, cause I'm sure somebody, especially us crazy Bill fans would have remembered it.
But that statement from SM has been on my mind since I read it cause I just couldn't place it.

So I watched that scene when I got home and I didn't really see evidence of it. Thanks for the link - I did remember incorrectly after all. He's used "literally" several times in interviews and they all are kind of mushed together in my head, maybe in the same way the love scenes are all mushed together for him. Thanks for the pic. I think we're all desperately searching for ANY news during this dark and dreary time known as Hiatus for True Blood. Why can't they all work 12 months a year? why why why!
Anyway, SM does look amazing in those cute graphic tee s. And Henley s. And nothing at all.
