In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

I ventured out to some of the other threads. I read some of the posters thought that the interaction between Bill and Jessica might mean something. They thought there was a little sizzle. A few threw out the idea that maybe Bill and Jessica together as a couple. That is just so wrong IMO. I can't imagine AB going down that road. I only saw Bill being respectful and 'gentleman like' in his regards to Jessica and nothing more than that.

Tired of watching Bill get credit on TB > for all the good, nice, thoughtful, romantic, > passionate things Eric did in the books - including > the pledge of marriage ................................. What where all the romantic and passionate things that Eric did? And the pledge of marriage, he tricked Sookie into that. Hardly romantic.

TB seems to be HBO's baby. Granted some people will not care for the direction the show is taking... while others will love it. I personally just see the show getting bigger and bigger. I think when it does eventually end, it most likely will be because AB has decided to end it or one of the main stars calls it quits.

So, although we know what happens, in the books, my post was only referencing from the show's point of view. I know it?s so hard to separate the two, but AB is determined to have it done. I'm okay with that. From a Bill fan, of course, I love it, but I feel for Eric fans. All I can say, it?s too early, IMHO, to give up on TB and wait till S3 to make the final decision - good luck! Hey, did you all figure out a final name for Team Eric?

Considering that only 5% that read the books watch the show that would mean that 95% have never read the books so they have nothing to compare it with. I doubt there will be major cancellations any time soon. I hope not because I have the read all the books and still love the show.

Hi Meluna! Now what did you really think of last night?? You know I wasn't happy bc I agree with Tempting. Tired of watching Bill get credit on TB for all the good, nice, thoughtful, romantic, passionate things Eric did in the books - including the pledge of marriage (which the real Bill never did). I wouldn't say it's too soon since the books are already written but at least we got rid of MA, Eggs and Carl. Next season's maenad will be QSA. I don't know, if AB doesn't wise up over the hiatus he'll be cancelled early on next season.

And I don't know why some are saying Bill took something away From Eric with the proposal scene and the gift that was all AB's baby. I thought the whole scene was beautifully done. It's going to make it sadder because they will not likely get married any time soon(if ever) with all that has yet to happen. They could of let Sookie say yes before she went to the restroom to compose herself and Bill could have known before he got kidnapped making it more bittersweet.

Good Morning All! Well, I learned my lesson, don't drink while watching TB and then read the posts I did our team wrong!! To Tempting: I understand your frustration, but I think in the short, you need to give it time. It's so early to be attributing many of the things Eric did, for Sookie, when his relationship with her has yet to be established. I believe that AB will give Eric his due and I for one am eager to see this. AB gave us hints of it through Sookie's dream ? we just don't know when, where and how, so to speak. In order to keep the show on, they have to have viewers and it would be a bad business move to ignore what fans want when doing so will cause viewers to leave the show. All I ask and pray is to keep our Bill always involved too!
