In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

Nice to see you back. I have been over to CH from time to time and there are alot of Bill lovers over there. I have posted and they're quite nice. The Bill thread does seem to be the most popular. The problem is that I'm not a huge fan of the books. Although, I do like book 9. Bill is quite wonderful in it. I too, tire of the acid remarks that are common on this site. Not this thread of course. This is my home base. I can come here and be happy.

We were watching the game tonight - Clemson beat FSU!! WOOHOO!! - and I made them flip over to HBO for the end of "Sparks Fly Out" when I realized what time it was. I'm the only TB watcher in the group, but they were really impressed with what they saw and didn't get too mad at me for making them miss part of the game. LOL
Those scenes with Bill and the cops, followed by Bill's flashback to Lorena turning him, are just masterful. Honestly, I think they were better than just about anything we saw in all of season 2. I'm not a season 2 hater - I prefer season 1 but respect a lot of what happened in season 2 - but it just didn't have that same depth and power. My heart broke for Bill again as we saw a nearly broken soldier stolen from his home and family permanently. OurBill has such a heartbreaking backstory, I love that AB has seen fit to flesh it out so with the Bill/Lorena flashbacks. I hope we get more in season 3!
And when they show "Cold Ground" next week, I'll be on my season 1 highest of highs again. IMO nothing can compare to that stunning episode. *sigh*
One more thing, completely off topic: Spiller for Heisman!!

I've visited her site a time or two but never posted. I don't read the books anymore, so since there isn't a show forum there anymore I rarely go there anymore.

Season 3 sounds like it'll be crazy, but I hope they don't get overrun with new characters and can still focus on our faves. I can't wait to see how Bill's story unfolds during the first half of season 3 - I'm so intrigued.

What a great interview! I've always wondered about MK and if we'd hear more from her. Obviously I knew Lorena would be back, but I've read so little about the actress herself. Such lovely words about Stephen and Anna - they all must have an absolute blast on that set.
I'd love to hear Stephen and Mariana comment on the Bill/Lorena blood sex flashback. Goodness, how weird must that have been to film?? But the end result was great and such a defining image for the vamps on our show.

Stephen is in New Zealand filming "Ice" the last I heard, and he's got a couple more projects to film before the TB hiatus ends. I doubt we'll see much of him as his schedule sounds INSANE. I don't know how he does it.
There are pics of Anna on set, though, and she looks adorable. I read that she's playing a bit of a bridezilla in this movie, which is so funny to me considering that's totally not who she is in real life.

Love the Mariana/Lorena interview. She was so great on season 2 and I'm thrilled that she's coming back. (Shhhh, I think she's got Bill).
Just like so many of the cast of TB, she is a great actor and it seems like they all have so much fun working for AB. I guess the creme-de-la-creme must audition for AB projects.
Can't wait to see what stylin outfits she's gonna wear this time around. The fashions, especially the retro ones during flashback sequences are yet another outstanding element about the show.

ZenobiaZero- Thank you for posting the link to this article. I have been waiting to see a interview with Mariana Klaveno. I just love her portrayal of Lorena. I could be wrong but the fact that she stated we go back to work in a few weeks, makes me think we will be seeing Lorena in the early part of season 3.
