In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

She actually licks them, which I found incredibly touching and erotic at the same time (not an easy feat). It showed total acceptance in the moment, and I don't think that's something Bill was expecting from her at all. Gorgeous scene, and I really must rewatch it again soon.

Hey, I agree. He has wonderful proportions for filling out a tux - they look great on him. Golden Globes, Vanity Fair party, now the GQ spread...he looks great in a tux, always. And I love that he's not one to try a corduroy tux or some such f*ckery. Men who look great in formalwear do not have to resort to such shenanigans.
Did y'all ever see that vid from the GG red carpet where Sam and Stephen run into each other? They ask each other what they're wearing, and Stephen is all "D&G, baby, D&G!" So cute.

I'm not holding my breath for the first half of the season, unless it's a dream/hallucination or something of that ilk (*fingers crossed* and all).
But IMO we're due something once Bill is rescued and before whatever calamity next befalls our star-crossed lovers. We've usually got, oh, a quarter-to-half episode window there to play with, so I hope the writers don't waste that opportunity. More Bill&Sookie goodness, pretty please.

I peeked at the store today - nada. January Jones is lovely and all, but I've seen her "golden globes" busting out on enough GQ covers over the last few days to last me a lifetime.
Yes, if you haven't seen it, GQ does make a terrible joke on the cover about her "golden globes." Thankfully I don't have to condone such hideousity by buying that issue!

He looked great at the queen's! The hair still wasn't perfect, but it was better than it had been mid-season, plus he was dressed in jeans, a henley and a leather jacket. Hello!!

Excellent style analysis IMO. With the tan definitely go with his lighter more natural color but when he's Bill, love the rich dark contrast against his beautiful pale face.
I'm thinking of when he visits the queen in her day room. When he first walked in and the camera zoomed in on his beautiful blue eyes, he was so drop dead gorgeous. I think in every scene with the queen he looked his most handsome. Maybe it's the bright light that illuminates his skin.

While I'm thinking about it. I wish AB would incorporate more of those long romantic scenes between Bill and Sookie in season 3. After all the strongest storyline in TB is the incredibly beautiful love story between a human and the world's most handsome sexy Vampire.
I know AB does listen to his fans about some things and if there's a God he'll realize that so many of us appreciate the show because it transports us to a world where a love that knows no bounds can happen.

What is with the short segments? I guess whoever edits the episodes just likes to torture us by cutting right into the middle of an amazingly hypnotic scene. It's like when you're laying on the beach soaking in the beautiful hot sun and all of a sudden some torturous fiend squirts you with an ice cold water gun.

It's a great picture, although I found the sun kind of distracting, I wanted to look down and away, but why would I want to look away from his face! It's a great picture of Stephen, well maybe not the best hair.
You know why I think they've got him in the middle? GQ is all about selling clothes and style. Stephen has the best physique of the three to show a tux to best advantage. He's fit, but not over-developed. His proportions are great, shoulders & chest to hips, torso length to leg length. He just plain looks great in a suit. He wore a taupe suit on the Tonight Show, and I remember being struck by how great that suit looked on him. Usually, with guys, the suit is just a sort of uniform that you don't really notice, but man, I noticed that suit. In this GQ pic they're trying to sell tuxedos, so it only makes sense to put the $4300 tuxedo on the guy who's going to make it look best. And you don't lie down in the dirt and leaves in a $4300 tuxedo.

Who doesn't love that one? All the feelings, statements and questions Stephen conveys in those scenes without saying a word is amazing. I'd like to be able to see the whole thing without it being chopped up into so many short segments, I think it was 4 if you include the continuation of the scene at the beginning of episode 7. And Anna was just gorgeous throughout. She always looks better to me with out the 'grown-up' makeup they put on her in season 2.

Of course I watched that episode AGAIN! Something about it being on TV makes it special. It contained the most amazing scenes of Bill and Sookie.

Has anyone found out about those cool figurines or whatever they are? Like how much they cost. I'm afraid I'll need one STAT of Bill to place upon my altar that I've set up in a secret room. Although I would prefer the original. Unfortunately someone else has already procured that particular one.
