In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

>I for one am a little bit bored with watching the repeats over and over, and I am more than ready for some new escapades. The starting gun can't go off soon enough for me, I'll be off and running! hooked - meant to respond to this sooner!! If you are getting "bored" (god forbid!!) with repeats (cannot believe I typed that) then I give you this challenge. Look for every scene with the exterior of Bill's house and see how the rocking chairs are placed!! In episode 3 alone you see first two chairs placed way, way, off to the right of the front door and then, in the "feel me up" scene there is just one rocking chair RIGHT next to the front door. There are other scenes to look for!! And you thought YOU had no life!!! -- Lafayette - Hallelujus! Hallelujus!Hallelujus! Lafayette - Give you some cocoa! When they are in the cemetery, and he tries to glamour her, this is probably my favorite scene of all. He is so adorable and I think my heart just kept beating harder and harder. I felt like a teenager again. I sure hope we get to see him looking like that again.

I'm always surprised by how much of their initial intimate contact is initiated by Sookie. They probably would be on their first kiss now if Civil War-era Bill Compton were setting the pace. ~Lou

Just finished watching ep 2 for the umpteenth time. I really love that one, and I always assumed before I read the books, that the reason Bill asks Sookie if she can even read his mind is because of the lascivious thoughts he has towards her, but maybe it was because he had a secret mission, who knows. And I adore the part where she just grabs his neck and plants one on him when he hesitates too long. You go girl! When you see some of the playful looks they give each other in that ep you can see that they were involved then. So romantic!

I just finished reading book 2 for the 3rd time. It is my favorite in the whole series. There are so many great Bill/Sookie scenes. I hope AB keeps all the great sex scenes of Bill/Sookie but that maybe difficult with Jessica around. Let's hope not! I also kind of hope AB changes the story a bit so that Bill has a chance to meet Gabe. I just can't wait for season 2! Bill

ThelLou: Not all pizza places use garlic in their sauce~ only REAL ITALIAN ONES DO~ other's don't!!! Bill's nose is sooo sensetive that he can smell it~so that means there must not have been garlic in the sauce or Sookie ordered the pizza sans garlic! -- Marleneemm~I tell it like I see it, I'll never lie to you. > Speaking of Bill and garlic - what about episode 8 > where Arlene's kids come over and they have pizza. > It looked like Sookie had it with them as she was > s having dessert with them. Now I don't know about > pizza in BT, but most pizza places I know have some > sort of garlic in their sauce!! might only be some > garlic powder but it usualy has some. Assuming that > she did eat - he did tell her in the bathtub in epi 7 > "but no garlic". gym- I always took that line about no garlic as a bit of a joke and not a hard-and-fast rule. I'd guess that the numminess (technical term) of Sookie's blood would outweigh the irritation of garlic. Of maybe Bill just didn't feed that night! ~Lou
