In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

shiver: Had to laugh...I am soooo jealous of Anna its not even funny. Well, actually, I guess it is very funny. It is so not rational and in my normal life I am an exceptionally rational, logical, give-me-facts type person. I swear if I were much younger I would move to California and hang around where they shoot all the time. All through school up until college I did stage acting and toyed with the idea of "going into acting" as a profession. Then I decided it wasn't possible and it was a pipe dream. My brother, who was a very handsome guy when we were younger (actually still is) did allot of commercials and training films for industry etc. and had his SAG card and was going to go to New York at one point and then took a side road and became a commercial art professor. I thought he was foolish to entertain acting as a profession. I have always erred on the side of caution, much to my later chagrin. I give a cheer to pipe dreams and individuals brazen enough and dedicated enough to stick with their hopes. Without them we may not have Stephen Moyer to drool over. -- bluetkg

Stephen & Anna TV Guide Interview
Mar 3, 2009 1:03 AM
|
There is a clip of Stephen and Anna on TV Guide Network from the soccer benefit. It's a quick interview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvrw5B7PipA&fmt=18 -- His fangs grazed my neck. Fangs, tongue, mouth, fingers, manhood; it was like being made love to by the Tasmanian Devil. He was everywhere, and everywhere in a hurry. ~Living Dead in Dallas

SM surely has a beautiful face and I haven't felt so enamored by a "celebrity" in a long long time. I hate to admit it but I am somewhat jealous of Anna in a totally unrealistic way I call my obsession with TB/SM my secret life![]:)](http://boards.hbo.com/images/emoticons/devil.gif)

Um, it's the first thing I noticed when I saw the pictures! I'd have to hate Anna if she weren't so adorable. I usually have no interest in celebrity couples, but with Stephen and Anna it seems to be a combination of my show and Bill/Sookie love, but also the fact that they aren't tabloid fixtures (at least not yet). I still grin like a fool whenever I see pics of them out and about. ~Lou

It's fun to see what's included from the book, what's completely left out, and what AB changes to make it his own. No casting call for Portia yet that I've seen, though Sookie did mention her at the end of season one (can't remember if it was by name or just as Andy's sister). Not to spoil anything from the books, but I hope we get some kind of interaction with Bill and the Bellefleurs. Doesn't that sound like some sixties group? Bill and the Bellefleurs. LOL Anyways, I love Terry to bits, and Andy seems to have a bit of a man (vamp?) crush on Bill already - probably because Bill always calls him "detective" - so I definitely want to see more of the Bellefleurs next season. ~Lou

Hey gang! I've been off the boards for a few days. Had my fave little girl, Faith, visiting me for the weekend and even had to DVR Trueblood Sat. night because I took her to Disney On Ice Worlds of Fantasy. What a joy to see a child's face light up when The Lion KIng and Tinkerbell come over to the rinkside to say hi! To the subject at hand...I get such a kick out of reading how you all question your sanity at your addiction to TB and SM. OMG, apparently we all suffer from the same malady. "Dr., Dr. gimme the news, I got a bad case of lovin' you. No pills' gonna cure my ill..." So I guess we are the norm on these boards, so I don't feel so strange anymore. I know that just as surely as I am sitting night after night watching TB on DVR or tapes or discs (I now have TB in ALL those mediums) or re-reading the book series or watching B & S music videos on Youtube to get a romance fix or visiting all the SM & TB sites just to get another look at SM's beautiful face and how lovingly he and A look at each other...that most of you are doing it too!! I truly feel as if we are kindred spirits. Did you all notice how Anna had her hand on his thigh when they were sitting on the bench at the Footy event? Of course you did, you wouldn't be a Billsbabe if you hadn't noticed. -- bluetkg

I just can't have BILL being so low on this thread so I'm giving him a bib BUMP to the top!!! Just finished re-reading Dead until Dark and I had forgotten all that happened in that book. There are so many potentially great Bill & Sookie scenes I wonder if any will be in season 2.... the scene back at Sookies after the FB game and ofcourse at the hotel when they think Eric may be listening outside their door! Has there been a casting call for Portia, I can't remember?? Anyway, on to book 3 are more recorded TB!

I think the Bill/Jessica interaction will give us lots of info about the maker/child relationship in the show next season, which I'm excited about. And if/when Lorena comes back, we should know even more! Poor Bill - Jessica on one side, Lorena on the other. He might consider staking himself to get out of that sandwich from hell. ~Lou

I can't remember whether it's in a book or I saw it on the show, but one of the vamps makes the comments that sex between vampires is not common. Vamps prefer sex with humans, but they "owe" each other loyalty and service. -- Jane HBO Forums Host

I have both a question and a comment to make. First, the question--is HBO running one ep per week to lead up to the beginning of season 2? The other night the showed the ep when he came to meet gran and I was just wondering. Now, it just occured to me that Jessica showing up at Bill's house out of the blue like that. She will need somewhere to go at sunrise, correct, and she has no hidey hole of her own there. Does this mean Bill will have to take her down to sleep with him that night? Maybe that is what they were filming when we saw the pic of AP walking with the umbrella looking so miserable. Maybe it's Sookie walking back home at dawn after a big huge fight and those two going to sleep together. What do you all think?

And I don't even have the excuse that there is nothing else for me to watch - quite often I have a DVR full of stuff I haven't watched, and instead I'll choose to rewatch an episode of TB I've already seen multiple times. When we start getting new eps in season 2, I may not be able to leave my house. ~Lou

I so enjoyed seeing those pics of SM! I love his skinny little leggies! I tried so hard to peer up the leg of his shorts, but, alas, not to be. He is so much more buff than in season 1. In the episode where Sookie's gran is killed, the scene where he is looking at the sliced screen he looks positively paunchy. No matter, he is so so gorgeous, it doesn't matter. Makes my day just to see his pictures. Sigh!

Sure I do alot of fastforwarding thru Jason & Amy in the latter episodes but I never tire of seeing Bill & Sookie.( and I love it when he is licking the blood off her head & the wound closes!!) Seeing them together in the graveyard still gives me goosebumps. Please tell me I'm not alone in this obsession because I am starting to question myself!! I still watch some of my recorded episodes nightly. There is so little else on TV that interests me right now. I'm holding on by a thread waiting until summer Oh and Stephen looked so yummy in his uniform.. he seems so much thinner then in season 1. I've said it before... there is not a thing wrong with that man!!!!

It would be impossible to pick a favorite moment or scene from this episode, but one of my faves is the scene that starts out with Bill licking Sookie's head wound. It's just so odd when you think about it - how weird must that have been to shoot? But it's such a great stand-out scene for the show, and his "oops, busted" look when he leans back and licks his lips? So hot, yet so funny. I adore this episode! ~Lou

It's so great to see Stephen out in the sunlight and not burning to a crisp! Hopefully he won't tan too much and get in trouble with the make-up people at True Blood. What a great event for Stephen and Anna to participate in, and hopefully they all raised a lot of money for the fire victims in Australia. ~Lou
