In his 173 years on the earth, this vampire has seen more than his share of cruelty and violence - from humans and vampires alike. While he holds no illusions about his own existence, Bill has returned to his family home of Bon Temps hoping to reconnect with whatever humanity he's managed to retain. He never expected this attempt at mainstreaming to include romance, however; especially with a human girl just strange enough to accept him for what he is.

Just saying "hey" to all. I have been having trouble with my computer for over a week! Haven't been able to log on or anything. Its been driving me nuts. Finally broke down and am taking PC in to get worked on. I'm at work now.
So not only have I had to go thru Trueblood withdrawal, I've been going thru forum withdrawal!
Also, found out my little beagle, Maggie Lou, has cancer. I've been wanting to come on forums just to unload about that but couldn't get on. She had an operation to remove a lump on her side on Thurs. and we get the pathology report tomorrow or Wed about how bad and what kind, etc. I hope and pray its not as horrible as the vet predicts. She's only 8 and as sweet as can be.
Sorry about such a sad topic on here but I am so worried.
Still love my boy, Bill, though. Have had to make do with tapes of Trueblood to get my mind off everything.
I'll give you all an update when I get test results. Also hope to be back on home computer in a few days. Miss you all. Bye for now.

That was the absolute first comment I made to my friend after watching the first episode of TB - that I would love it if a man looked at me the way Bill looks at Sookie. Wouldn't care at all that he was a vampire....
