In the sixth episode, Sookie finds comfort in Bill's arms after Gran's funeral. But will it bring her more pain in the long run? Once bitten, can life ever be the same?

Is there any room for another member of Team Bill? I think I'm becoming obsessed with Bill and Sookie....Their passion is so intense and real.....I'm living vicariously through Sookie. I find myself daydreaming about Stephen Moyer looking at me the way he looks at her....I can't concentrate sometimes...Am I the only one feeling like this? Good to be a part of the board by the way

Chefrobert: Yes, vampires need permission to enter a mortals house and Bill was given permission in Epi 2. Once the get permission, they can enter as many times as they please. Once the mortal revokes the invitation, they cannot enter anymore. ***************************************** TEAM BILL FOREVER

I think that last night episode was done very well. Yes, the magic of Bill & Sookie's first time wasn't the same as the book, but AB still made it magical. Watching Sookie get dressed and run to Bill was so sweet...and I know it's been mentioned numerous times on this thread, but how hot did Bill's blue eyes look while he was "searching" for Sookie. *SIGH* I think we'll be in for a pleasant surprise when they pick up on Sunday...and no, I don't know about any special spoiler! I just think that they'll finish up the love scene sweetly. They gave Sookie the "lady-like" experience she deserved instead of a flat out bang session. ***************************************** TEAM BILL FOREVER

So does Vampire Bill need permission to enter a mortal's house or not?? I didn't hear him ask for permission while he was zooming up the stairs at Sookies house at around 100+ MPH. What's up with that???

Thanks for the welcome! I am definitely going to read the books now. I am just not sure if I want to read them while watching the show, or afterward. I was pretty bummed when I read about what happens with Bill and Sookie in the books and not sure I want to know any more! I am so hooked on this show. I have never been this in to a show in my life. I'm a little worried about myself...

diabladepaz: Welcome to the boards and to the world of those addicted to TB. IMO, the show isn't following the books exactly, but AB is still making magic. A lot of posters are reading the books simutaneously so it's up to you if you want to know what "may" happen or if you want to go with the flow of the show. Enjoy! *************************************** TEAM BILL FOREVER

There was no build up to it at all -- very disappointing. Although, I will give credit where credit is due -- her eating Gran's pie made me cry. That was so real. And Lafayette -- he can be quite gallant in his own way, can't he?

Anyone have the feeling that Sookie may already know who the killer is, but not be able to conciously decipher what she knows? Or -- Do you think that the strangling scene was a subconcious projection of her feelings about Sam ... "Dude, you're suffocating me!" - Sk. Great post! It made me rethink how much we write about the series not sticking to the books & you're right... the series is giving us a different & actually pretty entertaining perspective. It's an ensemble series & not just the "Bill & Sookie" show like you said. -- "Yikes. Yahoo. Yum" {Sookie - Book 4 - the shower scene}

Hey everyone! First of all, let me say that I LOVE this show! I have never read the books, but I did read online (and wish I hadn't!) about what happens between Bill and Sookie in the books. So my question is, how closely is the show sticking to the books thus far?

I thought she was going to bite > his head off when he asked if he could call Jason > for her. > > I gotta say, if Sam ever is nice to Tara again I will > call him a LOOSER! If he likes to be kicked around > Tara is the woman. I dont understand if he loves > Sookie so much why does he tell Tara that he wants a > REAL thing with her? Or is that what men do? > hugs > poonie > > -- > Hugs Goddess Divine Really? I didn't get that at all from her when he offered to call Jason. I thought she was relieved she didn't have to handle telling him. I think Sam has realized that Bill won, simple as that. He's still going to be Sookie's very good friend but he's realized that it's not going to be more than that. So, he turns to Tara. I don't think Tara is shitting on him at all. She had to try one more time to work it out with her mom. Yes it was a bit startling but I think, if she's nice to him at the bar the next day, and explains a little more to him, it will be OK. -- We're all a heartbeat away from forever.

Combing hair and Sookie's first time

Leading up to the love scene with Bill and Sookie, I was hoping the writer would include Bill's brushing Sookie's hair and the brief concern b/c it was Sookie's first time. I thought that was such a touching moment in the book. I guess it's more visual to have Sookie running across the cemetery and Bill meeting her. But I would have included the tenderness in these actions because Bill doesn't reveal much about himself -- verbally. It's all about his actions. I think the writer tries to show that when Bill races to her side after an apparent dream. The scene of him outside with the "dog"; the longing in his look, with Tara and Lafayette's comments, were touching. Kudos to the writer and director on the Sookie/pie-eating/crying scene. Nice.

I only watched the episode once in order to gauge my true thoughts, without it being tainted by subsequent viewings. That said, I was greatly disappointed after the big build up. Not because of the impeccable acting of Stephen Moyer & Anna Paquin, because as always they are the class of the field. No, once again, it was due to the Tara & Jason & et al show. Way too much time spent on these characters. Now even more valuable time will be spent on Tara's mom demon. *sigh* The aforementioned characters dominate the show moreso than Bill & Sookie. And for me, as a fan, it's frustrating. I'm still tuning in each Sunday for the love story between Bill & Sookie. However, after all 12 episodes are eventually aired, at that time I'm not sure if I will continue to watch next season based on having to put up with Jason, Tara, et al, just to get a few minutes of Bill & Sookie. It's not worth it, for me. Here's to Stephen Moyer & Anna Paquin, hopefully the beginning of even more good things ahead of them in the future ~ mayhap even a big screen movie based on Bill & Sookie exclusively ~ I for one will pay to see that!
