Season Two Premiere.

A shocking murder outside Merlotte?s has Bon Temps reeling. Meanwhile, Sookie?s relationship with Bill is tested when she learns of his siring of Jessica, and of his involvement in her uncle?s death. Sam recalls a shape-shifting encounter he had with Maryann as a 17-year-old. Jason gets a sudden windfall that allows him to pay for a leadership retreat with the Fellowship of the Sun. Two adversaries find themselves sharing a mysterious dungeon and, possibly, the same fate.

Forgive me for just getting started on season 2...have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the Ep 13 shock factors!!! Everything kept me glued to the TV after missing the series for so long!!! This looks like it's going to be a great season! Loved the Bill/Sookie scenes!

Sookie cut her finger with a box when she was trying to put Gran's things in them..( I think)..the lawyer came and presented her the check and the cut re-opened...The symbolism for the blood on the envelope is pretty obvious since it contained an inheritance check and perhaps what can be "blood money"...

SPOILER ALERT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>if you haven't read the book or seen last year's episodes don't read further:

Sookie's uncle molested her as a child and the abuse continued until Sookie told Gran and she forbid him to visit. (the abuse happened for a length of time before Sookie told Gran)...So to Sookie, the money from him could represent a payment from him for her loss of innocence..JMHO...but to me it did look a lot like blood money...

Remeber, she had just cut her finger on the cardboard box in Gran's room as the door bell was ringing.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed...

but I was wondering about the blood Sookie got on the envelope the lawyer gave her (with her inheritance from Uncle Bastard - oh I mean Barlet). It seemed to me to signify or foreshadow something... something more significant than what was at the surface. Anyone have any theories?

Thanks!

That was me that had run across the story about the wheel and posted it here. Turns out it was a hoax.

SORRY! I was kind of impressed at such an elaborate back story - should have known better!

Thanks, but I didn't originate it. God only knows who did. I was just surprised there was such a comprehensive back story. They put a lot of thought into such a weird thing!
