Season Two Premiere.
A shocking murder outside Merlotte?s has Bon Temps reeling. Meanwhile, Sookie?s relationship with Bill is tested when she learns of his siring of Jessica, and of his involvement in her uncle?s death. Sam recalls a shape-shifting encounter he had with Maryann as a 17-year-old. Jason gets a sudden windfall that allows him to pay for a leadership retreat with the Fellowship of the Sun. Two adversaries find themselves sharing a mysterious dungeon and, possibly, the same fate.

There not concerned with Lafayette missing, because him and Sam had that argument.. And he's always wondering do his own thing. He hasn't been gone long enough for them to wonder.

HOLY HOTNESS!! That love scene with Bill and Sookie was amazing. And the ILY, even though I'd seen it on The View, was so perfect. I just hope we get more next week.
I thought this ep was good but just tried to cram too much story and too many characters in. Some I felt got too much time and others not enough.
Jason shouldn't be allowed to read - it will only lead to trouble.
Bill/Jessica are comedy gold.
And Lafayette!! I'm so glad they changed up that storyline, he's too great to lose.

I'm still upset they took out the grandmother. The idea that old folks in the show might not work seems a bit typical. I'm an old grandmother and appreciated at least for a couple of episodes the story wasn't just for the young.

Stella, I agree, I am glad they don't stick to the books. It would be boring to see what I have played in my mind by reading. I love all the changes, hoping it's changed to not push Bill to the side like in the books and I would not be sad to not see the Eric/Sookie thing played out as it is in the books. I would rather see a true love triangle than Eric winning all the time.

Hi Grace - I think we'll see more Eric this season but I don't think there will be any Eric and Sookie romance. Maybe in Season Three we can see some of that.

I'm glad the show is not sticking to the books exactly. How boring to simply watch what I've read. Keep the show exciting. Thanks! I did think it odd that after the murder of the exorcist, Tara goes right on not one bit concerned about Lafayette. Didn't seem true to the character. I was hoping the show would tie Amy into Maryanne somehow. Amy's character wasn't as revealing as I had expected it to be.

Having read the books I feel like I just got punked. I didn't mind because Lafayette is still with us (for now). I am terribly anxious for Eric and Sookie to have more interaction. I wonder if we will get the whole Eric in spandex scene now?

I am thinking that Maryann is the mended,I am still trying to figure out what she wants with Sam and what her intentions are for Tara. What's up with Eggs wonder "what" he is???? I am wondering what Eric will do with Lafayette?? He'd make a cool vamp!That was a GREAT AWESOME love scene with bill and soookie!I guess Sookie's gonna be like a step mom for Jess.I was glad that Jess didnt cause any problems for Bill and Sookie!I dont think Jason is gonna be with the FOS for long.I hope Arlene and Terry end up together,he's a sweet funny guy!

that was so well worth the wait and i'm glad they've deviated from Book 2 a lot! I was actually a little bummed thinking that they'd stick to it pretty faithfully, but i'm so glad they didn't...I loved seeing Eric go all savage, and Bill tellingSookie he loved her, it was awesome! I wish I could ff the week to get to sunday again!

WOW! This episode was great. I'm happy Lafayette is still alive. Can't wait for next Sunday.
I wonder why Maryann wants Tara hook up with this guy. It is to get to Sam? What does she want with him, if is not his money?
Do you all think Eric will turn Lafayette?
OMG, Sookie and Bill's scene was HOT!
