When Sookie is attacked by a mysterious creature, Bill must enlist Eric's help to save her. At the Light of Day retreat, Jason has second thoughts about the sect's anti-vampire agenda, but Sarah and Steve counter with flattery and promises. After snapping at Tara and new employee Daphne, Sam decides to cut and run. In order to liberate Lafayette, Sookie strikes a deal with Eric. A bored Jessica heads over to Merlotte's, where a smitten Hoyt falls under her spell. At another Maryann-hosted party, Tara finds her attraction to Eggs mitigated by a persistent, aphrodisiac fog.

I hope Sam doesn't leave for good. I genuinely hope that Sam doesn't leave at all because that could mean he's off that show. I love Sam, and I'd be very sad if he were gone.
Plus, I think he's very handsome 
Yeah maybe Sam does need to man up a little bit.
Either way I hope to see alot of Sam on the show.

Yea.. I used to like Sam.. but he's getting way too poor put upon. He needs to take his own advice to Andy Belflour and "suck it up and stop feeling sorry for yourself" (might not be word for word but still lol).
And why leave town cause of Maryanne? Terry is right (as usual it seems even tho he's crazy) Sam is a coward. lol

Nope,no clue.
But from what was printed about tonight's upcoming
episode he's going to be staying around town.
Sam's possible "trip" has to do with Maryanne:
Seems they've know each other since he was 17.

SookieLoves...I don't think Sam is going anywhere - he's just running away from Maryann, now that she's shown him she can control him and force him to reveal his nature in front of his friends and neighbors.
Remember, when his adopted parents found out what he was, they moved out and abandoned him. At some level, he thinks this would happen again and he's terrified of it. He'd rather leave everything he's built in BonTemps than be exposed.

Hi Everyone,
Until I had read abot the "Cancer moment" here, I really hadn't thought about it at all. It didn't bother me. I actually thought that it was a funny exchange between Sookie and also Eric. I agree with Bon Temps. I saw it as Sookie would rather have something as terrible as Cancer than to be associated with Eric. And that certainly doesn't mean that I am ignorant or cold with having Cancer at all. That's all that I will say about that.

LOL I think that some ppl who did not read the book might be upset if she goes to Eric because they have played Bill as so nice and Eric as so evil. It really does bother me that some of the nice things Eric did for her were given to Bill or how they made Eric less in the show. GRRRR

Yes semantics plays a role...
I never heard anyone say the Cancer is growing - I have only heard people say the Cancer is spreading or has spread...

Same thing, really. Semantics, I guess. The tumor grows because the cancer cells multiply. It metastasizes when some of the cells break off and go somewhere else. The same thing with a fungus.
I think of spreading as being two-dimensional, and growing as three dimensonal, but they're really the same thing.
