With Jessica in tow, Bill and Sookie head to Dallas to carry out Eric's vampire-reconnaissance mission. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason falls victim to a practical joke, but has the last laugh when the Newlins anoint him for a higher calling. Maryann throws Tara a birthday party at Sookie's, attracting much of Bon Temps to its Bacchanalian revelry. Sam postpones his departure from town to attend the bash, connecting with Daphne in the process. Having barely escaped Fangtasia, Lafayette finds himself reluctantly pulled back into Eric's orbit.

2. On the right or left breast/arm pit
3. On the femoral artery??

Marleneemm and Balyjaj: I agree with you both. Eric although a vampire is a man and he is jealous. Booking that room without a bed is something a man would do, throw a wrench in it. I love watching him taunt Bill. He did try to get Bill to let him heal Sookie when she was injured by the bullman and he knew Bill would say no, but he had to taunt Bill anyways (so human). If Sookie had dranked his blood he would have a connection with her, so he will use Lafayette instead for the close connection. He is too much that one!

I think eric wants laffy around because sook cares about him and anyone sook cares about he will protect little do he know he wants sook in a bad way
... didn't you all see when sook and bill got to the hotel they had a room with no BED because eric don't like the fact that they sleep together it KILLS HIM.... so they had it changed to a suite on eric dime....and jessica my goodness shes gonna be fun....

It think it is possible since there are different supernatural beings here that may be more powerful than others. Maryann's threat to Sam proved he had no control over her changing him, so Daphne could have been attacked as a normal person or something else as we also see there is a doctor who is skilled in treating such things. Sookie's body completely healed due to Bill blood only after the poison was removed. I do feel that Daphne has an agenda and something more to her than the dumb waitress act!
