Yeah, all we know right now is that telepaths seem to taste yummier than most people ( according to Lorena). AB may never use the "f" word in the show.

Please, refrain from comparing me to W. First and foremost, explain to me how my arguement has changed? I'm sure Eric reported the crime just like he would any other crime that happened to occur in his area. Reporting a crime when it is your job to do so is not ratting someone out. Though you seem hell bent on that being so. Attempting to explain to you the fact that all of your points can be included in 1 response isn't changing the subject, it's addressing it. Like loverofthefang mentioned, vamp politics are very complicated and I think next week we will all found out just how complicated they are(when the gang meets up with Nan Flannagan.) -- "Yield to me."

First of all, I would never stoop so low as to compare you to George W. Offended is not even the right word. And, because I have a disorder that does not allow me to give up easily, I will try again. The fact is that we don't know (and will never know) how the magister found out about Bill. This is not a defense of Eric. It is a statement of fact because they never say. The fact is, Eric is a vampire, not a human, and therefore, exhibits vampire traits instead of human ones. The fact is, Eric is also a sheriff which means he has certain duties which, apparently, include taking Bill to the tribunal and presenting him to the magister. I say this because the magister actually asks Eric to present the murderer. All we know about the proceedings was what we actually saw. Everything else is just speculation. All of this is true. It is not an either/or situation.

It is the same actor . . . but the hair was different . . . and probably meant to be more primative looking for the time (since I guess in today's day and age a vamp can change their hair by modern means - but I guess remain a perpetual virgin - LOL!) and in the firelight, he may have appeared to have more of a flush than he does now. Maybe the as the years go on, the less blood you need, the more transparent you look? But it was the same actor . . . -- "If you knew my story word for word, had all of my history, would you go along with someone like me?" " . . . I would be your bad-ass vampire." In reference to if Eric reported Bill to the magister (sorry about spelling)he would have had to there was no else but them there(Pam,Eric, Bill and Sookie). So who would have told? Eric being sheriff he wouldn't have to say anything he could have looked the other way since Sookie was helping him and she could have been killed.

The point is that you're debating the way George Bush defended the Iraq War. Whenever his reason for going to war would be debunked, he would just change the reason, until we eventually ended up with a half dozen reasons for going to war, and many people had forgotten that the original reason was WMD.

Did anyone else notice that the flashback Eric had of his maker when he told Bill about it looks totally different than the new Godric seen in last nights episode. Did they have 2 different actors? I understand the principle that he may be paler because he hasnt been feeding so he says....but the Godric pictured on top of Eric and the one for last night look totally different.

Also, this whole idea of Eric ratting out Bill is just preposterous. It's Eric's job to report vampire crimes. For someone who is so hung up on Eric's job and/or how he performs it you seem to be overlooking that tidbit. -- "Yield to me."

They are all connected. Eric is a vampire sheriff. As a vampire, he should not be judged by human standards and, as a sheriff, he shouldn't be judged for just doing his job. To me, it is all one argument.
