Sookie's captivity takes an unexpected turn when Eric arrives to do his master's bidding, facing an F.O.T.S in full lockdown mode. In Bon Temps, Sam finds himself in hot water after making a gruesome discovery at Merlotte's, but Andy proves no help in coming to his defense. Sent home by Bill, Jessica and Hoyt learn that when it comes to sex, every time is the first time. Tara and Eggs get physical after partaking in a "Hunter soufflé" prepared by Maryann. After Jason pays off his debt to the vampires, Godric looks to enlighten his more single-minded followers.

Those Dallas vampires seem like a pretty blood thirsty group as a whole so God help the humans if Godric dies in the explosion, even if he sacrifices himself to save others. Remember Stan saying "Kill them all" before Godric put a stop to it? Who's to say he wouldn't have included Sookie and Jason in with the rest....after all, they are human. They have red blood that will taste just as sweet as any FOTS member....Once a killing rampage starts, it's going to be "US" and "THEM".....THEM being humans! -- Nie przeszkadzaj mi!

Err, I don't think Barry's blood weakened Lorena. She was being all impressed with how "different" it tasted and that's when Bill hit her with the TV. I think the plasma-screen against her skull weakened her....for awhile.

I didn't think it rendered her powerless. I just thought it caught her by surprise. She was distracted so Bill got the better of her.

I haven't seen this question approached yet. Why did Barry's blood render Lorena weak and powerless, allowing Bill to finally attack her and flee?? Why does telepath blood weaken a vampire? Bill must've known because he feeds off Sookie. Hmm... -- ~Who ordered the burger...with AIDS?~

I have to watch it again, but I think Luke said something to Godric earlier which made it sound as if he knew him. It might have been Gabe, though. Edit: Never mind - it was Gabe. Still odd, though - he says, "Godric! It's me!" Like they were friends. Huh? I still wouldn't be surprised if Gabe turns out to have been Pussylover9. -- I heart New York -- Edited by Marionj2 at 08/10/2009 3:57 PM PDT

I'm curious to know why the cops in BT are not more suspicious than they are. I mean they got the funeral director (mike?) in for sodomizing a pine tree...odd and they think that Andy Bellefleur's the strange one? I mean he only saw a mutha f'ing Paul Bunyon pig and he wasn't even the only one claiming to have seen it. Poor investigative work, Kenya, Bud....I'm hoping that there's a mouse in that jail house so that Sam can change and scurry his furry self right out tha door.

As far as they knew, the FotS people had gone back to their homes--the crisis was averted. I think that they were celebrating Godric's return. Did they say that's what the party was for? I can't quite remember. It was a little bit odd that no one would notice; however, there were many humans among the vampires. He wouldn't necessarily stand out, because he wasn't around the vampires for an extended length of time. Jason noticed him because he spent a lot of time with him. At least that's my theory.

Did anyone else notice that the flashback Eric had of his maker when he told Bill about it looks totally different than the new Godric seen in last nights episode. Did they have 2 different actors? I understand the principle that he may be paler because he hasnt been feeding so he says....but the Godric pictured on top of Eric and the one for last night look totally different.

Maybe I'm way off > base, but if just seems strange to me. > > -- > "Perhaps I'll grown on you" > "I'd prefer cancer" I think Godric's current attentions are merely to try to live in peace with the humans around him. Spoiler I think something happens that makes him sacrifice himself

After rewatching scenes from the party at Godric's house, it seems as though there were quite a few folks drinking beverages that could not have been True Blood, so I would presume that there quite a few humans there. Furthermore, Godric addressed Hugo by name, leading me to believe that they knew each other. I get the impression that it's unusual for a vampire of Godric's stature to open up his house to humans. Certainly Eric wouldn't do it, not to mention the magistrate. Perhaps, that was Godric's fatal mistake.
