With the crisis in Bon Temps careening out of control, Bill seeks out the advice of the Vampire Queen of Louisiana, Sophie-Anne, but must exercise patience before she gives him critical information. Meanwhile, Sookie and Lafayette find that protecting Tara from herself is more difficult than they anticipated; a desperate Sam turns to an unlikely source for assistance; and Hoyt's allegiance to Maxine is put to the test by Jessica.

Bill said to Sookie that some vamps can change form, some can fly... We know Eric can fly. The queen surely has an "extra" vampire benefit, right? Maybe she can create loyal human subjects via selling her own V juice. It'd be an inexpensive way to have day guards, willing donors, and spies. Actually, it would be rather profitable. -- Edited by TMSmaestra at 10/07/2009 3:21 PM PDT -- Edited by TMSmaestra at 10/07/2009 3:26 PM PDT -- Edited by TMSmaestra at 10/07/2009 3:28 PM PDT

I feel Eric is in his own world grieving Godric, Sookie was showing so much compassion for Godric and it spilled over to Eric with that touching of Eric hand and telling him she would stay until it was over. I think Andy and Jason should be clamoured cause I cant feel they both wouldn't be telling everyone about Sam and Sam needs to be under the radar as much as possible. I thought the same thing that Eric had Lafayette selling bad V. But what would be the point of that? Can you see Lafayette sweated by the FBI? Like the old Tylenol poisoning? You know I was just thinking (LoL) Maryann lived in that fine house, who was the owner? and when he came home she left. or that's what she and egg's said. I saw a picture of the inside of Sookie house, its tore up, a bathtub is in the living room!..... I will be sooooooo happy when this bitch is dead!

I went to the HBO store and got True Blood for my party, but I just have a bad feeling that it's just going to be more of the same, vibrating, "lo lo," black-eyed sex. I'm not excited as I was the rest of the season up to "I Will Rise Up." The season actually ended for me when Godric met the sun. That would have been the perfect ending for the season. It was the most perfect episode. I hope there's some redeeming parts of this final one.

Evan Rachel Wood is a horrible actress! While she was speaking her lines I was transported back to one of many high school theater productions the general student population was forced to witness during school assemblies. Yuk! Whose you know what did she suck to get the part ?cause it wasn?t based on her acting.

Exactly, the time has passed quickly. Quicker it seems , than the usual one week wait, and its now been 11 days!.

Then, either the relationship changes or > dissolves. > > - Sk. Definitely. The relationship can be expressed as an equation....change one side and the other must -of necessity- change , or there is no relationship. The other interesting thing about that idea is that in the equation both sides are of course , Equal. A quote comes to mind which proves true time and time again; real communication only occurs between equals. The gifts brought -and given - to each other, are ultimately of equal value. The student learns what the teacher knows, and as the teacher-given the opportunity to share what he knows with someone who desires to know-masters what he knows. The teacher has realizations about what he actually knows and may have revelations about what he has learned that were only unconscious before. That is the gift of the student, without which there cannot ever be mastery for the teacher. In the end, its clear that we are on the same page. A footnote: As the days pass, and the countdown brings us closer to the finale, I have noticed that I have forgotten about the show many times this week. Yesterday , I saw a pumper for the show on HBO and realized that I had forgotten all about it!. I gotta tell ya, five episodes ago, such a thing was impossible. The show had become and object of concentration..almost a meditation...thats all gone now. In her life > , Sookie has envisioned an ideal, but that ideal does > not live in this world. > > I know this may seem like quite a tangent, so thanks > for bearing with me. Not at all, and I do agree with your point here. I also want to stress that I'm not in any way saying that I think this is just a re-write of pygmallion or MFL, but that the roles of wise/learned and ingenue, to me, applies here to some extent. The choice of Pygmallion/MFL was just a short-hand to point out that particular relationship pairing that is used throughout fiction (and in many cases exists in real life). It was not meant to say that this story parallels that one in any way other than in the roles of the two characters. I also agree that people and relationships are dynamic, which is where I've seen that particular pairing end up failing b/c the ingenue does not remain the ingenue so the wise one can't remain the wise one... Then, either the relationship changes or dissolves. - Sk.
