Oh, but I just had to register to respond to that. I agree that AS is just about as wonderful as a grown man gets these days, but sorry girls...she is not lost for words coz she's in the presence of The Viking, she's bored to the point of falling asleep when he talks about Bajen, his favourite soccer team.
How do I know that? I'm swedish, heard the interview, and have seen the transcript. I don't know if you realise just how boring a swedish guy (or girl, in all fairness) can get if you let him (her) go on about midfield strategy, team line-up and what not. I'm new to the board, but I've been following these forums since july, and I'm really sorry to be the one breaking it to you - hearing him talk soccer made the radio go all quiet. :D
He made no comment on it since he got the picture Also, the show that made the interview isn't exactlly famous for being into sports, quite the opposite. Just wanted to let you know.

YES .. same interview< I think at the very end. ... unless they've remeoved it already. It was not on the Youtube interview but in the written interview she was stumbling all over the place ... i keep looking at you mouth ...honestly, to admit that IN an interview.
Alex of course, ignores the comment probably terribly embarressed for her.

WOW ... people are starting to "get' Alex. How cool is THAT?? Don't worry, in case you slip there are plenty of Fashion Mamma's who gleefully attack him each time he fails to meet their "wardrobe expectations" lol
People do not understand because he presents as such a "nice guy" that underneath is a radical individualist with a will of steel and he will walk away before he compromises his core belief system and values.
However, lets remember ... "money dosn't talk ...it swears" so he could very well sell his soul like so many others in the end.
But my assessment Say's "no". ... so far anyway.

Each time he tires to change the subject, play down that interaction, steer the interview in a different direction. This time he pleaded " Oh, I am so old now .. that was back in my glory days ...LOL ...yeah right!
