A character's image is key in defining what they're all about to the viewer, but in real life people will change their hair, clothes, the way they act and so on. While change is good in the real world, it could be death for a character since they are so associated with their appearance. If the town of Bon Temps were real and the characters your neighbors, who would you want to be made over? Does scruffy Sam need a shave? Should dressed-up Tara never ever wear a red dress again? On the flip side, who is perfect the way they are? -- Tim HBO Forums Host

POSSIBLE SPOILERS HERE: O.K. here goes. According to the books, Sam is supposed to have strawberry-blonde hair and be clean shaven, not gray and scruffy. The gray hair makes him look old. Sookie and Eric are supposed to have the same hair color and please change Bills hair back to the way it was the first season, he looked so much more masculine then. Also, lose a little of the white makeup on Bill and Eric please.... I know they have to be pale but come on... they look painted. Arlene would be my number one vote for a complete makeover. Lafayette is prettier. Does Jason have anything else besides that gray Bon Temps T-shirt? Pam is perfect and so is Tara. Sookie needs some more grown up clothing especially when she's working for the vamps, first impressions and all... Eric opens an account for her at Tara's Togs (again in the books) so she can dress appropriately when on assignment for him... He tells her it's considered a business expense and everyone that works for him has the same deal, a perk for being in his employ I guess.

Eric - bring back the long hair. He's a Viking, godmanit, and why would he change after 1000 years. Tell the costume and hair designers to get their acts together and come up with something better . . . how about a few extensions . . . not that damn wig. Jean and t-shirt and of course, the black wife-beater are amazing . . . Lafayette - Perfect the way he is. He's got his own style . . . gotta let him keep on keeping on . . . Pam - Perfect as she is. She's in Laffy's league . . . rock on - her looks are totally cool . . . from Chanel to black leather and everywhere in between . . . Sookie - she needs a consultant. She goes from wearing the sluttiest clothes (short, shorts - that green sundress number from season one) to the most heinous sweater/skirt combo ever. They can't get it right. Yeah - put the hair back in the ponytail . . what is up with her do's this season? Bill - put him in jeans and hensley's (sp?) . . . and tossel the hair . . how can they be so oblivious to how good he looked for the first two episodes - and it has been downhill ever since. He looks uncomfortble in everything else and I am not digging the blown out hair. (Damn Sookie for hooking him up with electrical contractors!!) Jason - just a bath every now and again would be nice. Is he the ONLY one who ever actually goes outside in Bon Temps? He sweats like a mo-fo. Tara - for a girl who could never keep a steady job, she has the best clothes . . . those muscle baring shirts - the colors - the dress she wore to gran's funeral . . . all amazing. Yeah - we can do without the red prom dress . . . Jessica - what happended to all that pink stuff Bill brought her . . . . the most beautiful hair on the show. Gran's Pie - I'm sure it looked good before Maxine got her hands on it and then Sookie downed it in one sitting . . . -- "If you knew my story word for word, had all of my history, would you go along with someone like me?" " . . . I would be your bad-ass vampire." TEAM ERIYETTE 4-EVER!!

I DO like Sookie's hair this season. And it's not beyond my imagination that Sookie may have some natural curl in her hair, that the humidity in Dallas and Bon Temps only helps. And I have enjoyed most of the dresses she has worn in Dallas. Some people have likened her to a modern day Sandra Dee or a June Cleaver. To me, she is dressed sexy without being slutty, and she has an adorable figure to wear the shirtwaist dresses they are dressing her in. The Yellow and Black one she wore to travel in was unfortunate, however. My only request for wardrobe is to get some different colors on the male vampires. And please take Isabel out of that white dress-It was a good choice, but she has to have more in her closet!

I am almost finished with book one. It is funny to be reading about last season while watching this season but it makes you remember all the little stuff!

i like most outfits but wish Sookie's hair was more like the first season. Her hair distracts me from the scenes AP is doing because it's just not realistic for a girl in the humid south. It's too done up like she's sporting prom hair a majority of the time now and that kind of hair just doesn't hold up. And, what girl would want to go thru the effort of fixing it like that every day...just put it in a pony 'cause it's too damn hot! Straighter softer waves for AP please. : )

i would choose to make bon temps the way it is in the season. cause that the visual u got and the characters u know to love. when the new season come out and they have different hair cuts and new looks cause the first season did a good job. kinda takes out the feeling of where u left off at the end of season1 . p.s. i would move to bon temps if there was one old fashion people trying to live simple lifes what im looking for -- mcl
