My boyfriend and I had four friends over for the premiere. Two more were supposed to join us but became ill. This crew will be joining us most weekends as none have HBO. Popcorn and various drinks abounded. I also DVR'd the premiere so my mother could watch it next time she comes over. Everyone loved the show, including my two friends who knew nothing about the series. I'm looking forward to Sunday. Regards, Shalie

One brought makings for Bloody Marys, garlic and a large crucifix. We had a great time. We're all three real fans of the book. I loved the way the first episode ended. OK at around 5:40 p.m. I started getting anxious for the show to start. I remember feeling like this back in the day when I was waiting for the premiere of "Six Feet Under" like I knew I was going to see something really fantastic and I couldn't wait for it to start. At around 5:50 p.m. I turned on my TV and turned off all of my phones, I didn't want to miss anything! I'm so glad I did, the show was great! I'm going to see it again on the 9:00 p.m. feed! -- "All we have is this moment, right here, right now. The future is just a fucking concept that we use to avoid being alive today. So, be here now."

Fleurdelis1: I've already told hubby that I'm treating and we're ordering in: his choice I wish I had a large screen tv: but will have to watch it on a 20" stereo one. I'm planning to close the door to my bedroom and I'm warning him that I'll talk to him after the show!!!

Hi Marleneem, We do have more than one tele in the house but I have to see TB on the big screen in HD with the surround sound! LOL! This means I have to hide the remote which usually is glued to my hub's hand. I think I have him interested enough in TB tho. He was very disappointed when Moonlight wasn't picked up after the season ended as was I. Tonight is the big night! > Fleurdelis1: > This is the good thing about having two televisions: > Mine is in my bedroom where I'll be watching the > show after we've had an earlly dinner~~~~~~~ > Husband can go do what ever he wants > to................ > He knows that if he bothers me then there's going > to be hell to > pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!V**V -- Fleur

Yes, the remote is MINE tomorrow night at 8 central and only I know where it will be hidden. It will miraculously appear when the premiere is over. All phones will be off the hook or turned off..... and all visitors to the house will go unanswered... -- Fleur

My son is a fan as well, and JUST this week finished the last Sookie book. He read them all in order. Since he doesn't have HBO, he'll be at my house Sunday night and we'll watch it together. (My husband who is NOT a fan of vampires, will probably go do something else.....NO detractors allowed!! )

I see a pattern beginning to emerge, but no surprise! I myself also plan to watch alone in the dark and am going to wait until everyone has gone to bed so I will be totally undisturbed. -- Tim HBO Forums Host
