As owner and operator of the local hole that bears his name, Sam holds a front-row seat to all the small-town drama of Bon Temps, whether he wants it or not. As a private guy himself, he tends to stay out of his patron's and staff's personal lives, but a protective streak -- particularly when it comes to Sookie - occasionally places him in the midst of strange events that are starting to unfold at his bar.

I think CH may have Sookie with Sam at the end...
Not on TB though ... he may be the final choice for Tara, but never Sookie after he slept with Tara.

I've thought about it alot and I agree. CH said it was someone who had been there in the beginning. SS could have as normal a life as it would be possible for her, maybe children, stay in BT.

Think Sookie will have to wait for people to get her info on Bill ... that will take a few days ...
Knowing her, she will work to keep busy during the day, and try to keep an eye on Jessica at Night (the vamp who was a good thing for the show, but made sookie/bill kind of boring at times)

I think you are write about Sam loving her, they were the same he had a connection with her
I wonder since he asked Sookie to watch the bar how will she do that with Bill MIA?

Sam was so good in the finale. I think he was thinking of Daphne and his family, too, when he had a tear. I think he felt like Daphne was the closest thing he had to family. It seemed like he thought it WAS Daphne. I got kind of excited.
I wonder if he could have saved her? Would he have? I do think he loved her.
More than that even--- he was SO sexy with Daphne. So many scenes seemed so real and intimate, even when they weren't sexual.

"If" this fairy tale story were real life, and "if" I were Sookie, I'd totally have chosen Sam over Bill or Eric.
Sam is just loyal, hard working, troubled just enough to be interesting, and forgiving - he did not hold a single grudge after the town he helped all those years wanted to kill him. That in itself is pretty amazing.
But Sookie may have chosen better - look at all she has seen and done, all the adventures she has had, from choosing Bill and getting involved, by choice or not, with Eric.
Maybe it's because I'm a dog lover...I don't know. Lol.

I don't think V would effect Sookie or Sam like it would a human.
I STILL think Jason should be the same as Sook.. that is my story n I'm sticking to that... that is such a cop out ... if Charlene wrote him that way I would say that to her... I feel she cheated his character... BIG TIME!
I think Sookie had the dreams about Bill and Eric cuz there was already an attraction there.
But Sook honestly can't stand Eric especially what he did to Laffy.

Sam seems to be housebroken, but I think you might have to watch out for him trying to hump your leg. Of course, in human form, that might be kinda' fun.

I don't think V would effect Sookie or Sam like it would a human. Just like her telepathy doesn't work on vamps or shifters, and glamour doesn't work on her. I think if you're anything other than human you get the positive effects like healing, but not the sexy dreams part. I think Sookie had the dreams about Bill and Eric cuz there was already an attraction there. It was obvious with Bill, but with Eric, I think its more of a subconcious(sp?) thing. It's kinda like what our parents said about how boys/girls pick on you cuz they like you, hence Sookie being such a bitch towards Eric.

I was watching Divas on VH1 the other night and swore I saw a flash of Sam Trammell in the audience. Sure enough towards the end of the show Sam and Ryan Kwanten got up on stage to introduce one of the singers. Anybody else catch it?

I do not think the attraction stuff will work on shifters .. their body patterns are more fluid.
He might be a stronger shifter as a result ... or maybe Sookie will be more interested in him because he has Bill's blood.

Theroatically YES! Laffy thought sex with vamps was pure nasty! Hense in season 1 when Sook let everyone know that Bill and her had relations he called her a slut or skank and thought she was nasty which I was blown away since he is the most free thinking person in BT.
So if Laffy has dreams about Eric which he said he did... Sam and Bill should be having some midnight love sessions.
You would think so but I'm betting that the blood thing only works when its convenient.
I have a feeling they WILL do this. I think it might have a different effect on him because he's a shifter but we'll see.
I love the character of Eric Northman but strictly based on the show at this point, I am really rooting for Sam.
I can't wait to see what's in store for him next season.
