As owner and operator of the local hole that bears his name, Sam holds a front-row seat to all the small-town drama of Bon Temps, whether he wants it or not. As a private guy himself, he tends to stay out of his patron's and staff's personal lives, but a protective streak -- particularly when it comes to Sookie - occasionally places him in the midst of strange events that are starting to unfold at his bar.

The exception would be in Episode 10 - that was a complete train wreck.

Billookie - thanks for the pic! I like the pic of him drinking! ha ha Aww that vid was adorable! Sam is too cute! I want Sam and Tara together but I would accept any changes AB makes... I may resist at first but I will give in. Like the change from Jason and Tara to Sam and Tara. I was SO excited when I thought Jason and Tara was going to be an item. NOW that would of been good. But Jason is WAY to messed up for Tara now.
I love his eyes! He has this puppy dog thing going on when your mad at him you can't be too mad cause of those pretty eyes.
I even find that Sam & tara are even better characters than Sookie and Bill, as much as I like them, but it seems easy for them, while Sam & Tara have to fight for their happiness!
I think so too! Sam and Tara are classic characters their fights are epic! Even when the characters first start: I only yell at stupid people, mostly stupid people come here. Can I ask you a personal question. wait a minute (takes a drink). The fight at Sam's trailer well both of them, the fight in Tara's lawn, The fight in Sam's office. Oh man I LIVE for those fights! Too good! Sounds like your a fly on the wall. AB KEEP EM COMIN!

Actually, the best Sam & Tara is when he threw the flowers on the ground.. LOL
That fight was all her mother's fault!!
Sorry, but Sam & Tara love each other in a very strange fun way! LOL They are two complicated people, and the wruiting and actors portray them well.
I even find that Sam & tara are even better characters than Sookie and Bill, as much as I like them, but it seems easy for them, while Sam & Tara have to fight for their happiness!

One of my friends emailed me two videos - one of which I've posted on the Bill board, and another one, you can click here. It's of Sam and Sookie. I don't usually like YouTube fan videos. But this one's actually quite excellent. Very well edited. At 3 minutes and 35 seconds, it might help you kill some time on Sunday night when we would have been watching True Blood.
PS - I agree, Sam is REALLY growing on me too. Now that the season is over, and I'm re-watching the episodes more than ever, I'm beginning to see how lovely Sam is (inside and out). His eyes are to die for!! OMG! And he's a genuinely decent guy to add. If CH has Sookie pair off with Sam in the end of the book saga (like some people have speculated), I wouldn't mind (cause Trammell has made me begin to really like Merlotte). As for the show, I wouldn't mind seeing another Sam/Sookie scenerio.... but only if AB does it right this time (in season one, it was too rushed and a complete mess). I still lurve Bill the most, the most, the most... but Sam is definitely a close second (and Eric is a close third).

If you are a "continuity problem spotter", you may have thought that was a mistake - but now that you know what Sam is, and that he stripped, shifted, ran to check on Sookie, rushed back and put his clothes back on before she returned - now you can see why maybe he hadn't quite got his shirt tucked back in yet
I watched Charmed for years and when that dog was around and when Sam called the dog brother when he was sitting on his trailer. I had a hunch that he was a shapeshifter. Especially when Tara found out that he barks in his sleep. I was like Oh yeah Sam is the dog.
I also think Sook has more powers than what they are stating you remeber the male rattray and sook threw the chain around his neck and it kept getting tighter? I think Sook has telemetry powers. You know you can control things around you with your mind. They haven't tapped into that yet and I am very suprised they didn't do that for her fight with Rene. Have her pick up some tombstones and swing them all around the cemetary like a wind storm while she was hiding in the grave would have been amazing! I don't see why they didn't incorporate that part.
For the show, I like Sookie with Bill and Sam with Tara.
In reality, Sam can rock my world any day!
And of course, I wouldn't say no to Bill, Eric, Lafayette, Eggs...

Sam is really growing on me. But I do wish they'd put a real love interest in for him. I thought maybe he and Tara but she's right about one thing, he has to let go of Sookie first.

I've only poked through here, but didn't spot (no pun...) anything pointing this one out.
In episode one -
They're all in the bar, Sam in that plaid shirt, tucked into jeans, with a belt.
When Sookie runs into the parking lot to save Bill from the Rattrays....Sam follows her out, but holds back. Then the dog appears on the scene. Of course now, in retrospect, you know that was Sam. But next time you watch that episode - check for this:
When Sookie returns, Sam is standing there looking worried with his hand on his hip. Note that his shirt is NOT tucked in. He asks if she's OK, and they end up back in the bar.
Back in the bar, his shirt is tucked in again, with his belt in place.

Thanks for not throwing stones. I think I see your point, Blood, about the Sparks Fly episode. However, when Bill and Sooks finally hooked up in Cold Ground and the next episode, I fell in love (or lust) all over again with Bill.

Maybe it's cause I am black and I have a thing for white guys. On tv nowadays black woman are not with white men. it's usually black men with a white woman. Which does bother me but it's nice to see what I go for. muahahaha

Hi everyone
Ok guys, don't stone me because of what I am about to say.
I think Sam is very cute and yes, he kinda looks like a sweet puppy dog. I would love to have him as a friend and wouldn't mind working for him. If he was written off the show, I would be sick and pissed. With that said, I am not attracted to him like that - I am not attracted to Eric like that, (but may change my mind). For me, it's Bill, again and again, uhm

I think circe is the best option out of the 2, it fits Maryanne perfectly. Not the other one at all. The temperment completely does match at all!
U know what your right! i was a jeep... I dunno why I thought it was a truck. Well close enough ha ha.
Whenever they showed them getting it on, I was like, she looks like she could bench press you. Maybe that's what attracts him to her. Ha.
ha ha holy hell! I don't think they show the sex scenes of Sam and Tara its like right before or right after. Not during like how they do with Jason and Sook. I would mind seeing that. I think Tara does need to focus on herself. But I can't help it I love Tara and Sam together.
