I agree. I also think flashbacks to when Godric was less "evolved" might be a big disappointment to those who want to see the "holy" Godric again.

I'm of the opinion that she was indeed summoned. One of the names she goes by is Gaia, and Amy prayed to Gaia when they took the V. Also, it's possible that Ms. Jeanette's ritual gibberish wasn't gibberish at all, but a prayer to an old god she remembered from childhood religious rituals.
The only problem is, they're both dead. So Maryann can't be speaking to them specifically. But she might mean "you" generically - all you people in the town.

Maybe he's biting someone for a little taste. Maybe he doesn't want to offend the queen if she's offered this appetizer to her guest. Someone thought it looked like Barry. Don't know but, I'm just as curious!
I didn't guess too bad about displeasing the queen's appetizer offering! Yea me!

The promo for Sunday's episode shows a shirtless Bill about ready to bite someone (a man?) and it looks like it is probably at the Queen's place. It's not like Bill to bite people unless it is in defense, such as when Godric's lair was bombed. I'm wondering if he is being forced into biting by the queen. Any ideas?

MA went after Sookie, got Daphne, Ms. Jeanette (who may have been supernatural to get rid of Lettie Mae's demons) and now after Sam. Although, only Sam served alcohol, the rest direct or indirect association with the bar.

Here's a thought: Godric seems to have been universally well liked and had real potential to be a genuinely interesting, multi-faceted character...yet we've had an entire season wasted on a minor and extremely annoying character who appeared briefly in one of the books (and, sadly, was far scarier and more effective there).
Go figure.

It's an Easter Egg you have to hunt for it..
Click this link http://www.hbo.com/trueblood/season2/.
Then glide you mouse over the characters. This should make a red outline. It takes you to that characters page. Now mouse over any item that seems to stand out and click on it. It will take you to some video/audio form past or future episodes which are giving clues to what is going to happen.

I'm not getting answers on any other threads so here goes...*what are the easter eggs everyone is referring too?
*I think Terry is the character from the books who sees dead people.
*Andy is a SUPE/has abilities and he drinks to suppress it. That would explain why he didn't get wrapped in MaryAnn like everyone else. Also, things in season 1 led me to believe he was special before all this anyway.

I really liked the person who portrayed Godric - I thought it was well done. As far as other characters, I am hoping AB follows the theme of the books - can't wait to see what AB does with Alcide, from the 3rd book.
