> The individual that took Bill has to be a vampire, no > humans and most supes couldn't sneak up so silently > on a vampire. See, but you're assuming AB is using logic on this. I'm no so sure. Not everything he's done makes sense. (I'm trying to think if more than 50% of what he's done with this show makes sense....) For instance, you shouldn't be able to sneak up on Sookie either, she should register a thought pattern, but for some reason her ability seems to have been on the fritz for the entire 2nd season.... In any case, I wouldn't rule out a non-vamp having taken him. There could be a reason in all that as to why Hadley gets turned into a vamp, too....

Oh Malorn i like that idea , the Ms. vamps being the ones to take Bill!!! My books are packed away so who was the vamp that scared Sookie and Franklin pawned Tara off on? I would think he would be the evil vamp but maybe AB has combined them.

*waving back at malorn* Oh, I was having troubles too, I thought it was just me (often it is, stupid computer....). Thanks for clueing me in. I have a VERY firm idea in my head of what Alcide looks like, and so far I've not seen anybody that matches it. Hopefully they'll cast that perfect "nobody" to play him. Like you, I wonder about the whole Franklin Mott character and why AB finds him so fascinating. He was so...well, NOT in the books. But with the bigger role Tara has in the show, I guess her beaus have to have bigger roles too. Poor Tara, just can't catch a break.... I honestly think she'll wind up with Hoyt in the end (as I doubt there's going to be a JB character, since there hasn't been yet, but maybe I'm wrong and they'll bring him in eventually -- to me, show Hoyt encompasses a lot of JB's characteristics). Well, glad you were here to chat with! Boring talking to myself.....LOL

*waves to hotvamp* I think alot of people had trouble getting on for the past 24/36 hours..I know I did and that could be a reason for the drop off...but also..Once some more of the cast is announced I think it will pick up.. Speaking of cast..still am really unsure who should be Debbie Pelt..and not putting much thought into it..cuz I wasn't that thrilled.. As someone pointed out earlier..whoever is cast as Alcide, will have to have that "he man," rough, tumble kind of look but also have a softer look..cuz we know Alcide is pretty much whipped by Debbie... I so agree that Lorena could be the Lafayette of this season...We all think it's Lorena but it's not...I think Eric might be a red herring also... I'm interested in why he is bring in an "Evil" Franklin Mott....now in the books, don't remember him as being 'evil'..a bit creeepy in the Tara storyline...and if there is that dance scene...UGH....So, If a vamp kidnapped Bill..Lorena and Eric could be the red herrings and the Mississippi vamps wanted Bill for some reason... That's what I find interesting..not who but why...if you exclude Lorena and Eric..what other plot twist is AB gonna build for poor Bill... Not crazy about the whole HotShot story line...poor Jason..he's gonna be messed up as it is for shooting eggs....now he's gonna have to were... Sam's gonna go find his birth parents and see what was so "bad" about them...Leaving Terry to run the bar...that should be good for a few laughs... Something is going to have to happen to keep all of our other favorites occupied..Terry, Arlene, Andy, Bud....perhaps Jason will go missing? Anyway..I'm currently re-reading Club Dead..hope for some other spoilers soon!

I like him better in dreds but wonder how that could be sold with his occupation as a surveyor.

I have to disagree with you regarding who took Bill. He had a silver chain, rather thick also, around his neck and who knows where else. Remember the Rattrays were able to put him down with only thin chains of silver. A few humans could get him. I am confused because wouldn't his vampire hearing have alerted him to an intruder. Unless he was so consumed with the thought of Sookie rejecting him, or he just assumed it was the waitress. Crystal could walk into the bar and Jason, is Jason fashion, could just pick her up and then the Hotshot community could be introduced. Or....Jason, after shooting Eggs, could just start running, and end up in Hotshot all hot and sweaty and upset, and Crystal could take in him and "comfort" him. Just a thought

The individual that took Bill has to be a vampire, no humans and most supes couldn't sneak up so silently on a vampire. Which leaves us the following suspects: Eric, Lorena, any other vamp sent from the queen. Theres also the possibility it was a Mississippi vamp, but what would be the motive? We havent seen Bill working on his program yet. Im still thinking about how they will introduce Hotshot with Sookie is out of town in Jackson, maybe Jason wont be kidnapped this season (would seem redundant after Bill, although it could be the "theme" of the season lol). They cant have jason go missing for most of the season because they cant/wont cut his air time. Having Jason kidnapped and bitten over and over can only get soo much air time before getting boring so i expect to see that hole situation begining and concluding in 2-3 episodes, probably towards then end when sookie gets back.

I finally figured out where the short stories from CH's upcoming compilation book (A Touch of Dead, to be released Oct 6) fall in the books series, and figured I'd post it in case anyone else wants to read all of Sookie's adventures in order: "Fairy Dust" and "One Word Answer" should be read between books 4 (Dead to the World) and 5 (Dead as a Doornail). "Lucky" and "Dracula Night" should be read between books 7 (All Together Dead) and 8 (From Dead to Worse). And "Gift Wrap" should be read between books 8 (From Dead to Worse) and 9 (Dead and Gone). Now, time to start at book 1 again and start enjoying it all over again....

Wow, activity on this board has died right off!! I've been thinking more about Hadley possibly being the one that abducted Bill. It almost certainly was a girl with those small hands. The gloves could definitely have been to throw us off and think it was a Vamp (with Eric and Lorena being the two most obvious suspects, and Sophie-Ann a runner-up). Given that us book folks would definitely be thinking Lorena, I'm fairly certain it's not her (if AB is following his pattern from last time with the not-Lafayette death). Of course, knowing we'd suspect that (I have to assume he knows that?) I suppose it very well could be Lorena. If he's smart (and up until an episode or two ago I thought he was....) he'll take a few episodes to reveal who actually has Bill. Would be good to have that sort of suspense, like in the books. Of course, that will actually mean less Bill/SM on screen, and I'm not sure how the overall fan-base would react to that??? My guess is that Sookie will go to Eric and beg him for help, and he'll hook her up with Alcide after getting something from her. And then I should think the rest of Sookie's story will play out a lot like in the book. Leaving everything else pretty much up for grabs. Accelerated Jason abduction/HotShot Panther storyline would be a smart move. Obviously Sam's going to have his own funky storyline happening (I still say he'll wind up being related to Debbie Pelt). Anyway, those are my thoughts. The bulk of you guys might not even care at this point, with so much seemingly endless time stretching in front of us....

Oh yes, Jason Momoa is an extraordinary fine, fine man, hair an all. I like his dreads But even if they cut them, he is still a looker. I could wear him like one of those scrunchy thingies.
