What if the reason Bill keeps telling Eric that Sookie needs to be protected; is that he is working for the Queen?! To be fair, I can't imagine that working for the Queen would bring him out in sunlight, but who knows with these wacky vamps!

Just watched the episode again, it's not going to be one I watch more than that, though. I DID enjoy it more this time, now that I wasn't expecting too much of it! LOL
As for not knowing what happened after Godric "met the sun", I would supsect that Eric probably left before Bill and Sookie were up the next night (Eric being older than Bill can rise earlier), and Sookie hasn't seen him again yet. I expect we might get to see her broach the topic with him yet.
Bill at the Queen's place -- I too noted the "harder" (and yes, sexier) look of him there, and also though "aha!". LOL
Eric was not as disturbed as you might be assuming at being forced by his maker to have sex with him. He tells Sookie that anything associated with sex and feeding when you are a young vampire is exciting, so he was sort of OK with it. He does, however, prefer women. But as someone said, he's very in touch with his sexuality, as all vampires are. (It's one of the benefits of eternal life, LOL)
And whoever made the comment about being able to look at AS all day -- AMEN SISTER!!! That is one fine, fine, specimen of a human male....

The shit is hitting the fan pretty hardcore in Bon Temps so she's pretty distracted.
Speaking of which, since the eonline blog is saying that Charlaine Harris will play a cameo in the finale, and I think she has too much self respect to take off her pants like Jane Bodehouse, I hope she's a supernatural creature of some sort who comes to help the good guys. Wouldn't that be so cool?

I think it would be out of character for Sookie not to at least say something but who knows. The shit is hitting the fan pretty hardcore in Bon Temps so she's pretty distracted.

Maybe Sookie will make a comment to Eric when she sees him. Obviously she's still angry with him, but she was so moved by Godric in so many ways, and she knows how much he meant to Eric, so how can she not at least say I'm sorry... geez! Also, maybe he would like to know what Godric was feeling like at the end. That's just common courtesy dammit!

Yeah, I know. I mean what the hell. Last week was huge for his character and then no follow up, nothing.
Maybe Bill was all packed up and ready to go by the time she got back to the room? I don't know.

My question is what really happened after Godric met the sun? Bill and Eric were asleep so she just went home? Only Sookie could do that.

I think she was sensing his emotion and she was surprised to find his door open.

I think she is surprised to find Eric's door ajar...maybe worried something happened to him? Or her shoes are too tight.

ya, i do very much luv Eric on True Blood. He is a lovely man and great actor. i'm just a little miffed at the writers not capturing the fabulous character CH wrote about w/such zest.

drutto...I think Portia DOES like "show" Eric....
who couldn't stare at Alex all day long?...
I think her frustration lies is what the writers (and AB) have given Eric...they have changed him from the books in a way that ..so far...has not pleased many Eric fans/book fans...
I loved Eric in the books (see my creative username? )...I just wish the TB writers didn't feel the need to change so much of what CH created.
..Eric wasn't broke..why the need to fix him TB writers?
