Yup, that's why we have to watch them over and over.

xxbilookiexx....thanks so much for that informative post.

Who is the girl sitting on the blue blanket in one of the preview things ...does anyone know?

And I didn't see Rene lurking around so will go back and look.

Hmmm...very possible. I love how AB leaves little hints in each episode...subtle enough that you have to REALLY be paying attention.

One interesting thought...

Why is sex with vampires so darned good that it seems like every other human in True Blood is secretly a fang-banger?

Well, we all guess the obvious reasons are a vampire's stamina and power, but maybe there's something more...

Thanks to Jason's guinea-pig trials with the hallucinogetic, highly-addictive vampire blood (V), we already know how sexually enhancing and life altering it can be. Jason thought he had the most intense sex of his life with Amy on V, whereas in fact he hadn't even sunk his royal dagger.

Now, remember a few episodes ago when Bill was at the podium at church, talking about his family and the civil war, he began to cry. Unable to cry human tears, he cried vampire blood. That's right, the same toxic, mind-altering, sex-enhancing, illegal substance which Jason and his Julie are so liberally indulging in.

With that same logic, it is fair to assume that when a vampire ejaculates, he doesn't produce semen as other humans would. A vampire would ejaculate vampire blood. The combination of having a mutual orgasm with a vampire, and the introduction of the highly potent drug that is vampire blood into the human blood stream would create a level of sexual ecstacy(sp?) beyond anyone's wildest imagination.

Is it possible that this is the reason why people flock to vamp-clubs like Fangtasia for a little fangtang? I know that it's a little X-rated for True Blood to get into, but since we're using our imaginations here, I thought I'd bring it to light, and yes I have a delightfully preverse mind to even thunk of such a thing. Now I'm going to sleep in my make-believe coffin...

P.S.> If an overdose of V made Jason stiffer than taking a billion Viagras, why didn't it make Sookie hornier than a rock star groupie when Bill gave her his blood to drink to heal her wounds in the 2nd episode? hmmm...

Knr5501, don't worry.. I don't think Bill will die. I see the finale happening exactly as blustar mentioned too.. but remember, that will probably include Sookie saving him with her blood. (In the previous CH book, book 7, all the vamps are exposed to sunlight after a bomb... but nearly all of them survive even after being exposed. And as Bill said in the last episode, they don't burst into flames; being exposed to sunlight for a brief moment of time does not kill them. I really think there is a reason why Alan Ball had Bill say that last week... I think he's going to tie that into the finale).

I bet they will leave a huge cliff hanger when it appears he is dead. As that is how the show is every week. They love cliffhangers

blustar at TWoP has an EXCELLENT theory on how episode 12 (i.e. the season finale!) will go. The theory is compiled from the trueblooditalia photos and the deadwood spoiler. I have a feeling it's pretty darn accurate. Here is blustar's post below:

Last week, Bill's line about "bursting into flames" could be alluding to a sunny future for Bill. One of the new spoiler pics is of Sookie hiding in a fresh grave while another shows a lurking Rene. Then there's the episode description for episode 12 titled "You'll Be the Death of Me" (hint, hint) which mentions: Bill tempts fate during his latest attempt to save Sookie. So, I can see it all playing out as follows. The next day after Sookie and Bill have their argument - Sookie wakes up preparing for work, but something's amiss. Some how some way Rene makes an appearance coming to kill kill kill and Sookie runs away. She makes it to the graveyard - maybe on her way to Bill's. But for some reason she gets the idea that hiding in a grave might just confuse Rene enough to look elsewhere. Or maybe not looking where she's going - she tumbles into one. Seeing as how it's easy to get into a grave - well, it's definitely harder to get out of one. So, she's stuck. Of course, as we've seen in episode 6 and times before, Bill even while in vamp slumber can sense when Sookie's distressed. Of course, the times he's come before to save her life, he didn't have much of a challenge (threw the Rattrays like sacs of potatoes), but this time will be very challenging indeed. This time around Bill has the sunlight to contend with - his "tempting fate" moment if you will. Sunlight of which he's said that upon first exposure he wouldn't burst into flames. He'd be severely weakened and burst into flames after a bit. So I can see Bill waking up from feeling Sookie's distress - fighting against his will to stay inside from the sunlight to save Sookie. This puts him on an equal level of sorts while fighting Rene. Of course if this all comes about in any way similar to what I've said now - I do have to wonder how Bill will survive. I think we can safely assume that Stephen Moyer is signed on for the duration of the series - so, I have to guess that Sookie's blood will play some role in saving Bill. Then again, will her blood be enough?

Hi V,
Thanks so much for the encouragement !! I will definately keep reading !!!
I had to laugh at your line about looking for Bill, I have been scanning every page of the later books, just looking for any mention of Bill !!!!:^O

I am hoping that Bill and Sookie are happily together in the end, for me there is no other ending !!!

I too have several other books to read, but I am up all night reading these, just so I can see what happens next !!!
I am definately a True Blood, and all things related to True Blood, addict !!!!!!:-D

Thanks again !!!!!

Dinky, like you I was very disappointed the first time I read the books at least through Book 3. I continued on and discovered that they became Sookies stories. You will enjoy them, I am on my second go round and have gotten over my sadness of having less of Bill . I still think and believe that they will end up together,,it is just that Sookie had to experience all the things that happen to her in the next 5 (for you) books to make her a better mate/companion/lover for whomever. It did take till about Book 6 to stop looking for Bill on every page. Definitely worth the read. Lastly, I almost never read a book twice, because like Steven King says there is no way to read all the books I want to in this lifetime. I think that says something for the characters CH has written about.
I do have one concern however,, I have had 3 new books (Dennis Lehane, Nevada Barr, and Dean Koontz)
sitting beside my bed ever since this series started on HBO. I do hope I will be able to read them soon. Perhaps like Sookie I am now ruined for other stories as she is for human men.

I fell in love with this show (especially Bill !!!), in the first five minutes of the first episode !!!
I am soooooo hooked !!! I started reading the books this week, and have finished the first three, and am halfway through the fourth.
I loved the first two, but was so dissapointed in the 3rd, and am not enjoying the 4th that much so far.
I hate it that Sookie breaks up with Bill !!!

I am so glad that AB is straying from the books, and I really hope that he strays even farther !!!
Sookie is such a whiny, immature, brat in the books,
Anna Paquin does such an excellent job on the show of making Sookie loveable, well most of the time she's loveable!! If I belonged to Bill, you'd never hear one complaint from me !!!

I just pray that AB will please bring Sookie and Bill together forever!!!!

Has anyone else been dissapointed in the books ?? Or am I the only one ???

I love reading all of the posts, I am so happy to know that I am not the only one so addicted to this wonderful show, it feels like my life revolves around it !!! LOL !!!!

Jason's shirt in Episode 2 said "Alabama Thunderpussy." Or, was it "Arkansas Thunderpussy"? In any event, it sayd "Thunderpussy, and so I have to wonder if maybe that was foreshadowing too.

Did anyone else notice that Jasons' cap, (when he was in the truck with Amy before they were going to kidnap Eddie), had a puma/panther type cat on it? Irony from AB perhaps?

Katel...have to totally agree with your sentiments about Sookie. How dare anyone call a 26 yr. old virgin a ho. She just found out she could even have sex without the pain of random thoughts interrupting for gosh sakes.

She turned into a "ho" by sleeping with two boyfriends Bill and Quin - and a guy she fell in love with Eric. 3 guys in a couple of years is a ho?

So all of you have had only one sexual partner in your lives then -correct- your husbands!

It seems to me that women have as much of a role of suppressing female sexuality as men do.
I'm not railing against any one in paticular on these boards- I'm just railing against a sentiment that sets women back into the early 20th century.
