Though she won't win any congeniality awards, Tara has been Sookie's loyal best friend since childhood. She's built up a tough exterior, taking care of her alcoholic mother, but the stress can make her quick to anger - and hard to employ. She may have found her perfect job - bartending at Merlotte's - where she can use her temper to keep unruly customers in line. Still, she has a soft spot in her heart for Sookie...and her brother Jason.
(Sorry, I keep creating this and it keeps disappearing - nothing personal, we love Tara!)

Disappointed that Tara brought this all on. I wonder if it will all come out next season.
I wonder why MA has to hit Tara in order for her to get back under her control? I wonder if it's the stronger a person gets the harder it is to control them which supports my theory of why she could overtake Lafayette now that he's scared of her since he knows she a supe versus when he first met her and she seemed to be intriguied by him.

I don't think AB will not leave this season without offing MA in some way. That would just be f'd up. Hope I didn't just jinx all of us.

At first I thought Maryann meant Tara would be back and bringing Lafayette and Lettie Mae as sacrifices or something, but now I'm thinking that she'll be back for Eggs. However, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be too late to make a difference or she's going to have to make some kind of choice, which would leave a cliffhanger for the end of the season, you know how AB likes to do things!
I was SO relieved that they were able to snap Tara out of her possession. I actually got a little teary-eyed when she and Lettie Mae embraced, good acting.

When Lafayette took Tara, didn't Maryann say something to Eggs like, "she'll be back"? I wonder if she's going to feel the need to rescue Eggs or something like that.
I have a feeling that someone is going to have to pay for Sam slipping through M&Co.'s hands a second time - and its not going to be Carl. He's a loyal and trusty servant without being possessed. I think Carl is going to whip up a mean Hollandaise sauce for a helping of Eggs Benedict (which tastes delicious with smoked salmon or spinach - the dish of course)!

I agree I loved the old Tara from the first season. This new love stricken Tara that's hanging with Eggs and growing old. I can' wait to see how they use her in the situtation with Sam and what ever happened to her hidden love for Jason has that just disappeared? Either way this season rocks!!!

Rutina is one of the best actresses I've seen in a long time. And Tara deserves someone better than "Eggs". Great-looking guy but what a sleazeball, even when he's not under Mary Ann's influence.

Tara is one of the best characters on this show!
She is book and street smart, beautiful, loyal, and mixed up like most people.
I'm looking forward to her waking up to what Maryanne is doing and what her part will be in stopping her. I do feel sorry for when she realizes what she's done while under her influence though - it will come close to tearing her apart.

LOVE Tara! LOVE her spirit and intelligence! I am so ready for the tough girl to reappear. The scenes where she loses herself just don't sit well. I want her to kick Maryann's ass so badly! Wake up baby, we're routing for you!!

I wonder what Lafayette & Lettie Mae are going to do with Tara now. I believe, even more so now, that Eggs is basically done. If Daphne got it because she didn't seal the deal with Sam, Eggs will get it too if Maryann doesn't get Tara back.

I love Tara, I think her character has gone through an awesome transformation!
I wonder if Maryann is killed what will Alan & Co do with Tara, she's so mixed in with Maryann's storyline.
I don't wanna see her pushed to the back burner.
