This is my first thread so if this has been discussed before I pray forgiveness. Does Anyone think Alan Ball will introduce the Bubba character? In a way I find him very entertaining in the books but dont think it will come across well on the series? Any thoughts anyone??

the "Bubba question" has been asked numerous
times and each time I answer the same way:
Alan Ball has said no, on the question if we'll see
Bubba~it has to do with his respect for the King,
and he also says he won't hire a 'Cheap Presley
impersonator. Another reason is the Presley Estate
holds the rights to Elvis's image":
It all comes down to the almighty dollar.

LMAO! I'm almost afraid to start a thread too. I may have missed a thread that has already come to a conclusion....but posters here were nice!

I completely understand where AB is coming from and think it only works well in the books because the power of the imagination is a far more capable of that kinda feat then CG

Well I guess that was the quickest death of a thread ever LOL Thank you for the welcome guys 
I think SM does a brilliant 'elvis' accent - I nearly passed out when I heard him talking in his native barrow boy accent LOL

Bubba due to the fact he won't use a cheap Elvis
impersonator~and he's got way too much respect
for Elvis's memory. The other problem was with the
Presley Estate who hold the rights to Elvis's image.

HI...sadly...No...AB has stated in numerous interviews that he will not be adding the character Bubba...
...but...if you watch really closely...SM does a mean "Elvis" accent..."Ssuuhhkkeeaahhh..."
