I think we need a thread where nobody brings up the books or introduces spoilers, so here it is. The discussion here is about the show as Alan Ball presents it. Speculation is encouraged - based on the show. Spoilers, from the books or anything outside what HBO has shown us, are not. There are plenty of other threads for that. If you're new to these threads - WELCOME! Jump in and tell us what you think. -- I heart New York -- Edited by Marionj2 at 07/22/2009 5:38 AM PDT

Actually, it's too bad Terry isn't in Dallas; as an ex-soldier, he could have fought on the side of the fangers. He's a liberal kinda guy for a country boy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Terry isn't a werewolf.. it would be cool. I definitely think there is something more to him... just don't know what. I can't wait until the werewolves come into play tho. That will be loads of fun! :p -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The more open my mind gets, the more evil I see"-Sookie Stackhouse ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out my True Blood vids!! http://www.youtube.com/user/NocturnaRaven http://www.dailymotion.com/nocturnavendetta

Hey Shayelys03! I had mentioned on another thread weeks ago thinking that Terry was a Werewolf and I did get crucified for the thought because I had no supporting evidence to conclude my thought! I am so glad I am not alone!!!

Terry probably sensed he did something wrong and is probably somewhere freaking out about it....or trying to do something about it. The dude broke his cousin's arm....that's the kind of thing that would upset him. I mean, even Arlene and Tara FEEL something wrong happened. Eggs, man, he's the most clueless in the bunch...far too trusting. Tara said, "...(Maryann's) so f#@!&*%@ weird." Eggs just smiled and said, "Yeah isn't it great?" And it's like, no dude, it's not great. She's not weird in the cool way.....you have to get her permission to leave the kitchen, for god's sake!!!

Good point, reminding us that Sam couldn't smell Daphne. The reason is probably that she was his own kind - she didn't smell "different." -- I heart New York

Daphne willingly gave herself over to Maryann. She said supes have to do so willingly, but they can't be taken against their will. You know what I always thought about Terry? I just thought he was one of these people who was pushed to the edge, nearing a breakdown, and since then, his perceptions have been heightened....he can see things most people can't. I know during the last season he worked full moon nights when Sam couldn't, and Sam can't seem to smell any supernatural vibes on him (though obviously, he couldn't smell Daphne for some damn reason). Yeah, Terry's special, but maybe not in a non-human way.
