Good morning fellow Eric lovers!! First, I got through copying down all the good quotes from Book 1 and 2 last night (sadly, there weren't nearly enough, of course, the entire book could be him speaking and it wouldn't be nearly enough) BUT I think that I got all of them.

sERIOUSLY!! And after re-reading the 1st and 2nd books, I fail to catch on to his appeal compared to Eric. I mean, he has NO sense of humor, he is controlling, jealous, and sneaky. He never tells her anything, whereas Eric always is forthright with her AND we all know he has a great sense of humor. Bill runs off whenever they get shot at in Dallas, but ERIC stays to protect her. Then Bill's excuse is "I am vampire, Sookie" UMM HELLO.... Eric is too?! So, how is it that he managed to stay and protect Sookie? Can no one pick up on this but us? Or they are as blinded as Sookie is. OK.

I can't help but wonder if Alexander reads the post's here and if anyone has made him blush.
When I read the books the image I had for Eric was no where near as sexy as he is with Alexander in the role.
I wish someone would make smell-o-vision for the tv (sorta like glade scent stories) that could make the show more real - and allow the fans to at least know what their obsession smells like.

I'm with everyone else, I really hope they get Eric out of that chair this week.
If it's simply not possible for him to stand in this episode, maybe he could move to a bar stool, or perhaps a couch. Loveseats are nice to sit on as well. Sitting in a car would be okay too I guess. Although, this might be too close to standing, he potentially could even sit on the bar in Fangtasia.
It really would be refreshing to see him stand up again.

I just finished reading the first five books in the series, and I have to say that I loved Eric in the books.
That said, I am so thrilled with casting Alexander Skarsgard in the role of Eric. He definitely brings the character to life with a deft sophistication. This is the first thing I've seen him in, and I'm definitely impressed.

I have to admit, I stay away from the Bill boards. That much animosity just makes me crazy! I have a friend that wants to put "Rage and Grace" on her car - I want Rage and Malice!!
