You are so right about that scene....but then every scene with him is hot. The way he said Sookie's name, kinda rolled it around in his mouth like he was feeling how it sounded and felt on his tongue. Oh oh I have to stop I wish they had never started this thread......LOL at myself. Didn't you love that line towards the end of Book 3 , bottom of page 287 had me cracking up. Sookie to Bill "Will this be different from doing it with a regular guy?" "Oh yes, it will be better."

Definitely Bill -- he does the book proud and looks like I would picture him to be. I'm really disappointed in the looks of the actor cast as Eric. He doesn't look one bit like a viking. In the books I would choose Eric over Bill but not in this series. Eric should be more muscular -- a blonde Conan the Barbarian type. The guy they cast looks like a wimp!

Vgannon50: Bill makes me melt when they're in the car on the way back from Fangtasia and he says "I don't mind being in trouble as long as I'm in it with you". SWOON!!! I could watch that scene a million times and still get goose bumps and go "awww". Then of course I look at my husband and say "Why can't you say stuff like that!" Poor guy...LOL. ******************************************* TEAM BILLFOREVER

Eric is great in the books. We really need to see more of him to tell how his character will develope in the series. -- TrueBlood - V8, Valium, Vicodin & Vodka ~Alan Ball ** Who Cares - it's Eric!! **

I'm for team Bill, alright he messed up big time. following orders, he should have been upfront with her, but thats water under the brige. as of book 8 he seems to be trying you never know what charlaine is going to do. so we will all have to wait. as of true blood never know what direction allan is going to go his bill might just turn out to be a sweetheart.

Here is my arguement for Bill: 1. Bill is the first person to show Sookie that he understands her that she isn't an oddity, and that she doesn't belong in an asylum. 2. Sookie can have peace of mind around BIll. Because she can not hear his thoughts, there can be a little mystery in life- which face it, sexual tension is a lot about mystery. 3. Bill is always protecting Sookie even though his efforts are sometimes misguided. 4. They have a strong connection. I can't really think of another television show that has drawn me in by the chemistry of the two main characters. 5. I don't believe that Bill has truely betrayed Sookie- there are extending circumstances beyond his control. If I were Sookie, I would just become a vampire and get it over with. -- Edited by Katel2 at 10/10/2008 12:35 PM PDT

Okay, obviously Bill all the way. That said. the guy they've cast for Eric is beyond beautiful and sexy. He is a great actor (generation kill) and his father is in two of my favorite films- Breaking the Waves, and Insomnia. The character of Eric in the books is so much fun and clever. We can't cast an opinion on Alexander until we see him say more then five words in an episode. This guy has a body and cheekbones and eyes that will not quit. Truely it does not have to be either or- I'd like to hang out with both of them!!

Ok Cathy, I started reading your post at least through the first paragraph when I figured out that I didn't want to know any more cause I haven't read the books. But I just have to say that I would never need a night off with Bill (NEVER!!), as far as conditions go, anemia is lot better than most others!! No really I think I could wear Bill out! Come on Stephen, let's give it the old college try!! -- Edited by raewill at 10/10/2008 11:57 AM PDT

I agree... Eric is amazing in the book and I don't care for his casting in the series as far as his "look". Hoping he makes up for it with his acting because I LOVED Eric's character in the books !!!
