My favorite episode is the one where when Tara's cousin (can't remember his name right now.) says, " Bitch, when you come in my house, you eat my food the way I fucking make it!!"

I liked both episodes 2 and 4, though I ignored alot of the Jason scenes. But I did like the explanation for Tara's crush on Jason.

I guess I'm the only person alive who loves episode 4. This is when Jason drinks the entire vial of V & can't get rid of his boner. Hilarious!!! It's also when Sookie & Bill go to Fangtasia for the first time (loved their conversation in the car on the way there) & we get our first glimpse of Eric. MMMMM MMMMM GOOD!!!

Last nite no one was around, so I watched ep 2 again, I love that one when they are walking through the cemetary and you can just feel the sexual tension when he asks her to remove her clip, you can barely hear what he says, again, when he is emotional, he chokes up and the words don't come out all the way. I really feel uncomfortable at the part when she says, you aren't a very good vampire, what can you do, and he says I can bring you back to life. He was so right, and she really should have apologized to him at that point, I don't know why they didn't have her do that. It bugs me every time I watch it.

I agree. It just proves what an incredible actor, Stephen Moyer is, he conveys volumes of emotion while making it look effortless. Anna Paquin is a lucky lucky woman.

I love episodes 1,2,6,8, and 12! LOL! Those are my favorites. I like 1 and 2 because there is so much Bill-Sookie time and their chemistry is so hot. I like 6 because Bill is so attentive to Sookie and that is the first time they get together. I love the scene where he is out on her lawn drinking his True Blood and looking up at her window. Tara asks Lafayette if a vampire is really capable of loving someone. I like 8 because I think the dirt sex scene is smokin' hot in a disturbing way and I like 12 because I am so glad to have some Bill-Sookie time again even if it is barely 60 seconds. I think we were robbed of the main characters during the last six episodes. I mean there are plenty of shows next season where Bill and Sookie can have more problems. I am sure they will too with jessica on the scene!

I have many favorite episodes, but I just finished watching the episode where they first make love, and did you ever notice how when Bill is emotional or aroused or whatever, that he can't finish the last letter of the word he is saying? When she asks him if it is always like this and he answers, no it is not, he can barely get it out. And when he comes to the door in the last episode and she asks if he would like to come in, he answers yes, but barely says the "s" in yes because he is so overcome or something. That is a real turnon for me because it seems so genuine. Am I weird?

Did you notice in Ep 1 and part of 2, how scraggy Bill looks? His hair looks wet and unkempt. And he does this little 'pout' thing in Ep1 that doesn't make an appearance again. Halfway thru Ep2, he cleans up real nice, but the first time you see him in the bar, he looks like a hotter-than-the-sun Thug.

I never get tired of episodes 1 + 2:

Episode 1: Bill is so brooding and almost threatening -- and yet Sookie is so very intrigued and already wildly attracted to him.

Episode2: Bill shows that he can indeed be dangerous AND tender (his conflicted sides so very apparent). Bill and Sookie's bond is established and this sets the tone for the remaining episodes of season 1.

My favorite overall episode is First Taste, the scene in the graveyard where Bill and Sookie talk and flirt a bit, and then in front of Bill's place, he asks her to take out her hair clip. That scene is so tender and passionate, and Nathan Barr's love theme underscores just how important those first few tentative minutes of contact are, that they set the mood for the whole series.

Other favorite scenes;

Bill giving Sookie a full eye-f*ck in the car and tellling her she looks like Vampire Bait. If he could have pulled over right about then, I think the earth would have stood still.

Bill throwing open the doors to his house, searching for Sookie in his mind and finding her running to him. It's so entirely Gothic and yet contemporary.

Bill and Sookie make love for the first time and the resulting tub scene later. You can tell he's already madly in love with her and is gentle but passionate.

Lafayette's confrontation of the rednecks, about the Aids burger. Lafayette got the best lines of the whole show.

Bill and Sookie go to Fangtasia to sniff out the thief and the resultant look that Sookie gives Bill as they exit the car, it says "You're going to pay for this" and he smirks.

When Sookie and Bill are in his bed, and she's grieving over Tina's death, Bill comforts her and tells her she will always be protected by him. He's telling her in no uncertain terms that he loves her and you can see the devotion in his eyes.

Eric's assessment of Bill's parenting skills in his office. Eric was delighted to see Bill in such an uncomfortable situation.

When Bill and Sookie are in her own bed and he's toying with her ears after making love, the look on his face says volumes. It says "I'm sated, and happy". His face and mouth are pink and he looks almost entirely human. You get the impression that this is something very rare for him.

Sookie's first meeting with Eric at Fangtasia. You can tell right off that he's intrigued by her, but is reluctant to start any kind of trouble with Bill.

When Bill has to tell Sookie goodbye at Merlottes on the way to the Tribunal. He kisses her as if it might be the very last time he sees her, which could have been entirely possible. The tenderness and poignancy of that scene have me misting up every time.

Bill seeing Jessica popping up from the grave and his confusion and anxiety over what to do next, it was hilarious.

Eric doing his 'Merlottes' visit and scaring the patrons to death.

Pam doing the 'eye roll' when Eric drops off Jessica and offers to take Sookie and Bill freaks out.

The 'two weeks later' scene, where you see Sookie ecstatic about her relationship with Bill, and you get the impression that the past two weeks have been blissful for both of them. To a point, hehe.
