I went digging for this thread to post about a new movie I've just discovered, but HBO had archived the thread, so here's a new one. The movie is "Let the Right One In," a Swedish vampire movie - and an excellent one. If you rent it, be sure to get the one with the "theatrical" subtitles - one set of English subtitles is much better and more subtle than the other. It's a beautiful and touching movie, with some scary and gruesome "vampire" moments. -- "When you label something, you dismiss it." ...............Harry Dean Stanton

True12: It doesn't sound cheesy: I loved the Lost Boys!!!! another film that "touched upon a hybrid Vampire/ Werewolf theme was VanHelsing" VanHelsing was part human/part werewolf~~and Dracula was part Vampire/part werewolf. So far TrueBlood has taken bits and pieces from many different Vampire storeies~it's going to be interesting as to what shows up in season 2??? -- Marleneemm~I tell it like I see it, I'll never lie to you.
