The reverend kind of reminds me of Joel Osteen. I can't wait to see what kind of trouble Jason is gonna end up in. I know that this new chrurch he's gonna be apart of is going to bring some big surprises.
I do think that Jason joining this chruch will definitely cause friction between him and his sister, since she's in love with a vamp.

FOTS seems like a brainwashing cult of sorts....phony and odd...what is the motivation behind FOTS? I dont think they just hate Vampires....
In my opinion Eric is going to use Jason to get Sookie - for what or why remains to be seen - perhaps to find the sheriff but I think he has other motives...

you know, i was thinking that the wife of that guy was eyeing jason like she wanted him. and the reverend is weird to me. but, yeah, i think jason is going to get into trouble and it will be super fun to see how it happens!

I NOTICED THE ODD SOUND, YES. THOSE BIG RINGS REMINDED ME OF THE POISON RINGS SOME OF THE WEALTHY USED TO WEAR HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO. THEY WOULD FLIP OPEN AND THERE WOULD BE POISON INSIDE.

I think Jason will find out that Lafayette told Eric about him real soon and be made to help the vamps or else.
As far as him being Sookie's brother and all, that's only going to get him a free pass for so long. Eric already broke the deal he originally made with Sookie anyway. The deal was, she would come and help them solve their problems anytime (by using her telepathy) as long as the vamps don't hurt, torture, or kill humans anymore for information.
Once the vamps caught Lafayette and the guy who helped burn the vampire house, Eric should have called Sookie in on it..
Like I said, Jason being Sookie's brother will only help him for so long, he's going to have to redeem himself somehow.... Eric won't let him being her brother stop him for long.
I watch Joel Osteen on TV sometimes and he seems O.K. to me. I still think he and his wife would be horrified if they knew they was being compared to the Newlins.
Just my opinion.

Joel Osteen doesn't preach hate, which is what the FOTS does, but there are certainly religious groups in this country who do.
I like your idea about Jason helping the vamps find the sheriff, and I absolutely agree with you that Jason has a lot of guilt about Eddie. I also think that Jason gravitated to FOTS because of the loss of his best friend and lover. Jason is just a pretty weak sort of human being.

I don't think Jason really belongs at the FOTS because he has too many caring/guilty memories of Eddie. I think he's going to help the Vamps find their missing sheriff and redeem himself for his part in the abduction and murder of Eddie. I think he would be a great insider (mole) for the vamps.

I wonder how that's gonna go down between her and Jason. I agree, I don't trust that cult either.. they're up to no good. Jason is definitely going to get himself in a mess, I think your right, Eric is eventually going to find out and hunt him down. I just hope Jason doesn't start anything with Bill, that would be a mess.
