Out with the old... and in with the new! WELCOME to the new home of the board LOONS! When the other loon thread was created - the name Loon wasn't necessarily a compliment... but we realized that we are silly and crack jokes and like to have fun... after all life is way too short not to!! Then we all met in person and the name Loon became our bond. We learned that it's not a club, it is a bond we share. We are the few, the proud, the Loons. This is, however, a social thread and EVERYONE is welcome to post and have fun here! "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter... and those who matter don't mind"

I'd spend the whole night trying to converse with bf while she interupted. Of course, I could manage to stick here with bf's MIL, cause her FIL works for me too, and that would give the two of us a chance to make a break for it.

Hell to the NO. I'm not a Christmas sweater wearer either. The bf used to have this asshole boyfriend who would buy her, every year for Christmas, a blouse or sweater that was yellow and hot pink. She pulled them out one time after they broke up and showed them to me. I almost puked from laughter. She was so NOT a neon 80's chick. She never teased her hair or wore make up, she was that naturally good looking girl. Anyway, she said he'd ask her from time to time why she never wore them and she said she was waiting for a special occassion.

I'll be wearing something I'd wear to a bar, cause that's where it will be, if not here. I'd really like to get rid of the Fruitloop element before I have a party. Even if she's still around, she will not be invited.

LOL Last year my mom and I were shopping and the store had those sweatshirts that look like you're wearing another shirt under it, with the Christmasy stuff embroidered on the front. You know, those old lady things. They were on sale for 14.99 and she wanted to buy both her and I one. I told her that I didn't care for sweatshirts but thanks anyway
