The Looney Bin!

Out with the old... and in with the new!

WELCOME to the new home of the board LOONS!

When the other loon thread was created - the name Loon wasn't necessarily a compliment... but we realized that we are silly and crack jokes and like to have fun... after all life is way too short not to!!

Then we all met in person and the name Loon became our bond. We learned that it's not a club, it is a bond we share. We are the few, the proud, the Loons.

This is, however, a social thread and EVERYONE is welcome to post and have fun here!

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter... and those who matter don't mind"

At a local restaurant. It's usually pretty nice, but no one gets really dressed up. Well some people do, but they look like idiots. I just wear dress slacks and one of my red sweaters. Dan's is tomorrow night. I will wear a dress to that.

No, I don't seem to be.

Gaithersburg in 89, you say? (It still isn't the friendliest place on earth). I used to pass by there everyday in from June of 89 until sometime in 96.

OMG that's funny... I have one of those too... Mom bought me this stupid sweater vest years ago... it's got reindeer on it and one of them has a red bead for a nose... it's one of those really tacky christmas sweaters... anyway I wear it to every work christmas party we have.

No Mar I didn't. we lived there from 1986-1989. It wasn't the most friendly place I've ever lived and the only local people I knew were people I worked with and I never saw them outside of work
