This is a social thread for board friends -- old and new -- to hang out and post together, joke around and a common place to find one another among the ever increasing number of threads popping up. A place to discuss your day, your family, funny things that happened to you and yours, funny stories about your pets, etc. whatever you feel like sharing! Having a bad day, let us know --- we may be able to lift your spirits and give you some objective advice but only if you ask what we think! Who knows? This is a thread where you can feel comfortable posting if you just want to visit with others without feeling the need to discuss the True Blood series. It's kind of like of a gathering place to meet friends or make friends and discuss a variety of topics. I've met and made some great friends from the HBO boards and we talk on the phone, exchange e-mail addys and sometimes even meet up in person! Hopefully, some of you will be able to experience the same kind of friendship as we have. Some of us already know each other pretty well but we're always open to making new friends. I've already made a few like Tapster, VampATX and Victoria (Torrie) who have joined my friend circle! There are still others I would like to add too! People should be comfortable coming here. So come on y'all! So enjoy! Don't feel bashful! I have to acknowledge Maffy with the title of Lunatic Fringe as Laracroft and I were cutting up on the spoiler thread one day and she called us that as a term of endearment and as a joke as she knows us very well. LOL! We're long time friends! Kudos Maff - great title!  As well as "Board Loons"! We certainly fit that description. LOL P.S. WE WON'T BE POSTING ANY SPOILERS HERE AS THIS IS A SOCIAL THREAD HERE!!! And, fleur, considering you've only 'known' me for a year or so in the 10 years I've been here, your vicious comments are beyond disgusting.
I started on Sopranos and met most of my friends there. We goofed around, beat up newbies, and shared our stories, good and bad. Some of us posted on other boards, but for the 'core group', the Sopranos was family. We got used to 'sharing' almost everything. We have helped those of us in need. We have celebrated births and marriages, mourned losses, and in the end, we stayed STRONG as a group. A family.
I DO use these boards to get out 'some' of my daily crap because that's what 'we' do. Maybe more so on Sopranos than here, but hey, old habits die hard. Fuck it. I make no apologies. For as much as I use this place as 'therapy', I'm also a good listener and supportive when my FRIENDS are in need. If someone doesn't 'like' me or the way I post, move the fuck on. Chances are I'll leave you alone as well.
I'll be waiting for your sincere apology, fleur, but I won't hold my breath.

Whoa, fleur, chill the fuck out. Yes, I said the name of the thread sucks but I truly had no idea who actually CREATED it. I just know it's a phrase that's been used on other boards that got WAY overused.
I have no issue with you. Your attack on me is really not warranted in any way. I've stayed OUT of this mess because, yes, I've had my own shit in LIFE to deal with, very, very little of which I actually POST here.
