How Would You Make "Sookie's And 'Bill's Love Stroy Better?
Here is mine.
I feel it is repetitive and flat.
First, while I like women who are equals in relationships (my mother was even more than that); however, 'Sookie' has become way to controlling of 'Bill'. She has him constantly having save her and then she gets angry at him when he is able to be with her when she needs him, because he is saving her.
Second, 'Sookie's and 'Bill's characters need more developing (STALE), they have done a great job of developing the non-front row characters (The Hoytes and etc). Remember, I hate 'Jason's and Tara's developments.
Third, I would evolve 'Bill's And 'Sookie's love relationship into a three-some, involving another woman. I know it is sounding like I am heading to 'Big Love' category  ; however, I would stop at two-women. Think about the possibilities!  Being a man I would limit them to just one-man; however, a woman could give 'Sookie' the best of both worlds 'Bill' & 'Eric' (YUCK). I would create a new female and either Vampire or Shapeshifter character (does nothing bad) that 'Sookie' and 'Bill' love and are attarcted to. Yeah another blood sucker in 'Sookie's sex scenes would be interesting, how much can one-woman allow Vampires to suck and still perform?  Or a shapeshifter, means you could make both the women and men watchers satisfied, shapeshifter can be a man one sex scene and a woman the next sex scene or even the same sex scene. Heck, the shapeshifter could turn into a Vampire  , talk about interesting! Well, I would go with shapeshifter. When I think more about The Shapeshifter could even be 'Sam', now I would think 'Sam' could not get what he wants from such a relationship; however, for half pleasent for 'Sam' and 'Sookie' fans.
Here is what I hate the most, about the three-some idea, Maryann surviving Season 2 and changing into a good character and while trying to mention fences 'Sookie' & 'Bill' welcome her as a friend. It gradually evolves into a three-some situation (maybe Season 3 finally); without Maryann able to use her control power (she loses it either Season 2 finally or Season 3 first game). -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/05/2009 9:12 AM PDT
