Wondering how the Rattrays persuaded Bill to leave the bar with them so quickly. Anyone know? I am assuming they put the silver on him once out in the woods. Would he have gone with them thinking that he would feed on them then the tables were turned? What could they have said in a matter of minutes for him to just up and leave with them?

Mcmaniz: I'd deffinately say that Denise Rattray was one~ Mac as we know from the first episode was "hooked on "VB" and needed a major fix~That's why they drained Bill ~they were going to sell his blood after tehy "partook of some for themselves": The rest they were going to sell~ Maybe to LaFayette????????????????????

Well, it's pretty clear there's plenty of humans in the show, offer themselves to be willingly bitten-- they've been called 'fang-bangers' the Rattrays were probably acting like fang-bangers, and offering Bill the chance to bite them both, so he'd leave with them.. Bill-- already being thirsty-- probably had no problem with going off to bite what he thought were willing donors. -- Edited by HarveyMidnight at 10/11/2008 8:39 PM PDT

Gargoyle73: Thanks for the link. There are quite a few differences, aside from Tara. In this version you can actually see the lady in the sequin dress hiding in the woods. Very interesting! ******************************************* TEAM BILL FOREVER

How crazy is that? Yeah, I think I have seen this convo somewhere on here but I personally think they made the right decision. Our present Tara has far more attitude. Somewhere around 6:50 is where she comes into play and having seen this scene with the TR (Tara Replacement) delivery pales in comparison. http://v.youku.com/v_playlist/f1968764o1p0.html[/url]

Trieste3: Of course the Rattray's were "Baiting him" They had "their own adgenda and Bill had his: Which was "Dinner" The Rattray's lured him outside and somehow Bill ended up as the one who was going to be "Drained"

Look to be honest I think the Rattrays were going to let Bill bite Denise (and yeah maybe some other stuff too) while Mr. Rattray watched. Recall the conversation in the bar, Denise was telling Bill how she was always being criticized for being non-conventional (not the exact wording but close) and not behaving as other people expected. She was baiting Bill. Now we know what she was going after cause she was a drainer, however Bill was thinking about other things. -- Trieste3

Gargoyle73: That is a very good question???? Never really gave it too much thought~ the Rattray's looked to be "two swarmy looking con artists, who would try anything to "score': When Bill first came into the bar and sat down, the Rattray's "gave him no mind~all that Mac/Denise had to hear was that he was a Vampire~ and they started to get interested real FAST!!" They began to make "friends after Sookie walked away"~ then they talked with Bill. Denise Rattray I think was the one who "lured Bill outside and away from the Bar~so that they could drain his "Valuable Blood"!!! Sookie came to Bill's rescue and "saved his life"........

My bad ya'll are correct...Just watched a replay of Epi 1 and it does look like Bill is hungry/thirsty...Also I am sure it has been discussed on some thread but I didn't realize they changed actresses with the Tara character. How crazy is that?
