If so, discuss them here. If not, you still have time! #4 is my fave, bigtime!

Katana08:
You're not alone.

The books can be read in two days~EACH book.
Books 7,8,9 take a bit more time cause they're
thicker and go a bit slower.

i will post after 3 and 4 most definitely. if i can pull myself away from watching youtube interviews of stephen i'll get back to reading.

and as for bill in the book, even though he's a little cooler sometimes, i must admit both bills (book and t.v.) have made for some really steamy "wink, wink" scenes

i guess i better start reading, my son is about to take a nap and i'll have some quiet time.

talk to you guys again tomorrow night after the show. i'm super excited

Never say never...;)

Eric has a lot of .....nice ASSets!

Make sure you post ...after book #4..I would love to hear what you think..

I do think that SM has made Bill more appealing than the Bill in the books...who always seemed to be very dark and cool to me.

Hi Mar...Welcome BillsMiracle...

I'm glad you're reading the books...I really like the one you're on (Club Dead)...

Don't be afraid of the Bill/Sookie thing ...I think if I had only seen the show and THEN read the books, I would feel the same way....

...HOWEVER...the books are so much fun ...and look at my username....it was chosen AFTER I read the series...

..after you're done reading the series ( or after Book #4).....you could always change your username to EricsMiracle;)

OMG!

i stared reading the novels and i'm totally addicted! i just couldn't wait a week at a time for more TrueBlood. i'm just bought #3 today.

the books are awesome, but they don't follow the same storyline as the series which is kinda a good thing 'cause i love seeing how the t.v. series develops. and i think bill is a little more "human" on the series. in the books he starts out very cold.

anyway, so today i got book three. being totally impatient, i glanced around at the next few books and noticed that Eric is on the cover of #4 with Sookie and not Bill. Of course i had to skim the first few pages to find that Bill is her 'former boyfriend'! then i read the summary on the back of #3 and found out about Bill's betrayal. i'm so bummed i almost dont' wanna read it. they are a beautiful couple and i'd hate it if they broke up. especially if she's gonna start hanging around eric.

i gotta get to reading! maybe if i read fast enough i can get through the break-up and into the make-up

ericrocks, probably not a connection, since it's a jackal (the jackal-headed god Anubis).

I agree - vampires and werewolves do not get along.

Actually the head of a jackal and the body of a human.

Since jackals are scavengers and wolves are hunters, there's a big difference in meaning.
