Why does AB persist in this BS of SAM having no family, history, etc? It's a CROCK. He was even in the Army.

Sam was one of my favorite characters from the start. He's such a sweet, caring person, but so lonely . I'm glad he's been given such a major role to play in this season, but boy, does his part of the storyline keep me wound tight with worry =[! I'm sure he's going to be fine, but it's hard to be completely certain when in just about every episode thus far, his life has been at risk from Maryann and her devious plans for him =/! I know this has already been said a few times, but how clever of him to shift into a fly to escape from the jail & observe Maryann's dealings with Tara & Eggs undetected, and again in this most recent episode to avoid being taken to her and sacrificed 8). jojo3boys- I love Sam, but was getting a little miffed at him for not backing up Andy. Me too. I kept saying to myself, "Come on, Sam! Say something! Help the poor guy out, he's trying to save your butt!" I was glad when he finally decided to seek out Andy for help, too . Judging from what he said when Jason and Andy were trying to figure out why he suddenly disappeared from view, then reappeared ("I'll explain later." or something similar), I'd bet that at some point in one of the last two episodes, he'll explain to them what he is. ***SPOILER*** In another thread, I remember reading a quote from an interview with the actor who plays him in which he said something like, "By the end of the season, Sam will have turned into something very small, and something very large." We already know what the "very small" thing was (a fly), but what about the "very large" thing? I'm thinking an animal like a bear, or something else that could be more or less believable as a creature that might be observed in the region. What are your guys' ideas?

I think its to portray Sam as a tortured and misunderstood shifter who was never really comfortable with being a supe

I love that they showed Sam sitting on the table and witnessing Maryanne's craziness with Tara and Eggs, and loved that he was around to watch Lafayette and Mrs. Thornton rescuing her. LOL@ what's one nekkid guy. So true!! I am searching for an Eggs and Tara thread and can't find one...

Yeah, unfortunately, Sam backing up Andy's story wouldn't have helped. There was just no way Bud and Kenya were going to believe the zombie sex orgy story. I think maybe by the time this season is over, Sam will see that it's more important to have friends who know what his real deal is. I think one of the reasons Maryann has been able to keep him on the run is that he can't just go to anyone and admit what he is. He needs more close human friends and some supes who can back his shit up in a time of need.
