Hey all: I've been off the boards for a week. Just a quick post for now. Will do more later. Had to go back to July 3 to try to read all the posts I've missed. Thanks to all who wished me a happy b'day and Happy belated B'day to those I missed wishing HBD myself. Especially thanks to Haj. I can't believ you and your sis climbed down the slope on Round Top to place flowers for me on the 16th MI! Wow. What a nice and great thing for you to do. I tried to concentrate and think of you in Gettys on the 3, 4 & 5th. Really appreciate the effort. My b'day turned out to be much less gloomy than I expected. My ex called and said he had a gift for me and wanted to take me to dinner and mjy daughter called and said she would come by afterall. Went to dinner with the ex and he got me a beautiful chrystal bowl (I collect chrystal) and a CW book and $50 in a card that said "I love you" AND a check for $1000! That was surely a surprise. My daughter came by and gave me a card and a gift certificate and my brother took me to brunch on Sunday the 5th. So I thought I would be miserable and I ended up having a good weekend. The ex also said he would make good on his promise to take me on vacation and said we would go wherever I want and whenever so we are planning to go to VA, Lexington, Charlottesville, Wash. D.C. and Gettysburg in August. Can't wait. Hope he doesn't change his mind, as he has been known to do on occasion. Lots of comments on TB and the upcoming happenings there. Have to run for the moment, just wanted to check in. -- bluetkg

She never lets the person she's going > up against come out on the bottom!!!!!!!!!! Marleneemm, Now after reading your above second sentence, I'm NOT sure what your saying as it doesn't follow the first sentence.

mARLENEEM He did not cry when he told sookie about them He never cried in the book. Stan cried in the book for godric, Since Eric seems so cut up about Godric i can only spec that he will be the one crying. -- DAMN YOU ALAN BALL -- Edited by michker at 07/10/2009 6:20 AM PDT

IN the book there are different blends of blood. There is Royalty Blended a premium blend with the real blood of european royalty in it. Then there is the Royalty which is nearly pure , with only a trace of perservatives. Then there is ordinary trublood. So bill must have ordered one of those above just to make Eric pay for it as he said. -- DAMN YOU ALAN BALL -- Edited by michker at 07/10/2009 6:11 AM PDT -- Edited by michker at 07/10/2009 6:12 AM PDT

> My big question: what > the heck is in that synthetic blood to make it cost > $45.00 per bottle? Ouch. Fulvia: Too funny! I was wondering the same thing. How much does Tru Blood cost at the Kwickie Mart? Do they make better/different versions of the "synthetic blood" similar to the different grades of wine or scotch? Or is it just the ridiculous price inflation that all restaurants and bars place on liquor? $45.00 does seem a bit high for a bottle of Tru Blood, so I'm going with the first theory. -- Edited by FooledbyLove at 07/10/2009 5:14 AM PDT

> Here is a better connection > > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmdB5MdacQM Good morning peeps: rclaurel, thanks for posting this link of Eric and Bill in Dallas, clearly at the Dallas vampire hotel discussing Godric. Eric somehow manages to convey bored and anxious at the same time, a tough look to pull off. The hotel bar looks great; kudos to the set decoration people who created the rich reds and orange colors perfect for the bar scene. Eric, for the first time since we saw him in episode 4 last season, is actually wearing something other than a wife beater and flip-flops, an expensive looking black shirt and black pants. My big question: what the heck is in that synthetic blood to make it cost $45.00 per bottle? Ouch.
