There's S3 scoopage, the first, really that I've seen. Seriously, peeps, I have no self-control. At all. None. Hi. I'm latbfan, and I'm a TB-coholic. http://www.tvguidemagazine.com/true-blood/sink-your-teeth-into-true-blood-scoop-2775.html "After a wildly successful second season, True Blood executive producer Alan Ball says he and the cast and crew are already sinking their teeth into Season 3, promising that the sexy vampire thriller ?just stays big and weird and fun.? ?After last season you would think things would sort of return to normal ? but no, that?s not going to happen!? Ball told TV Guide Magazine. ?No, there?s just as much weird stuff out there, and we?re going to meet some werewolves for the first time; we?re going to find out some roles vampires played in history, which is interesting and shocking and funny. It?s more of the same.? Okay, on one hand, I'm glad everyone's excited and already working hard. Hopefully they'll avoid feeling rushed and pressured as they did with the last three episodes of S2. Not that the rush had anything to do with the writing, but I think most of us would agree that the last three episodes were not... Well... *nervously clears throat* Anyhoo, on the other hand, I don't want "more of the same." Actually, that's not entirely true. It depends on what "the same" refers to. If it's the artful brilliance we saw in S1, yes. Bring in on. If it's more of the soap-box insanity, I'll openly weep. Any thoughts? Casting ideas/suggestions?

Annie peeps into the train shyly for she has been away for far too long. I will slink to the back so as not to disturb anyone. I just wanted to say hello to everyone, I miss the conversations and wish I had signed on to read the fanfic I hear such wonderful things about. I anxiously await season 3 as do the rest of you. In the meantime, I enjoy peeping in now and then to see what all are talking about.

It's funny that y'all mention the Tudors this morning (latbfan winks at Syncrhonicity; everyone else may have fled the railcar, but our Fearsome Foursome are always with us, whether we realize it or not.). Just this morning, when I was at Target, I walked past the dvds, and they had the Tudors on sale for less than it would cost to rent all the dics (which I was planning on doing in the not-too-distant future). I saw a couple episodes during one of those "Try out Showtime" specials, which is also when I got hooked on Dexter. Anyway, so I was talking last week with my group who watches TB with me, and we decided to watch the Tudors on Sunday evenings (since we enjoy getting together on Sunday nights). So I just purchased S1 and S2. Just now. Like 20 minutes ago. I don't know if there's any truth to it, but I read somewhere about Katie Holms as Debbie Pelt. I'm sure it wasn't official - just someone throwing out names. I think she'd be great. Because you can't have someone completely, on the surface anyway, b**chy and evil. And Katie Holms has such a sweetness to her, but I've always suspected she could seriously take someone down. I bet she'd do the whole, "I'm smiling, but not only am I about to kill you, I'm going to enjoy it." But then again, I still haven't recovered from Natalie Portman not being Sophie-Ann, so maybe I should stay out of casting questions... Do y'all remember the guy who played Keith on SFU? I dont' know the actor's name, but I think he'd make a really good (and hot!) were, with that deep voice and big arms.

fulvia, Welcome back! Henry Cavil is the reason I watch the Tudors! If he ends up on TB, I may faint and AP will be the envy of every woman and gay man the world over. Is there any reality to this or just a rumor of someones wish? Be still my heart.

Goodmorning Railfriends, eripmav and twitche have done it again with more lovely additions to the RR. eripmav your writing is such a delight, om gosh and working PP in there is just adorable! And twiche you have an amazing way of conveying Godric's age and all the emotions to go along with it while tying in past chapter info, great job both of you! Sorry I haven't been by much lately as I've been stimulated by all this steampunking to take it to some outer limits and have been out searching and tearing through supplies for some art projects the last few days. Literally I've been going to sleep, dreaming and waking up to steampunk for several days now and since I haven't been able to shake it, I might as well create it, eh? Curious if there are any other artists, crafters or collagers in our midst? Back to tinkering...Have a lovely day everyone!

Good morning peeps: I'm back from my seminar/vacation, and even though getting home was an ordeal, with a captial "O", it is great to be home and on the boards again. Eripmav: your chapter was enchanting, I just can't think of a more appropriate word. It was as if Godric were sprinkled with fairy dust and we dreamily got to see him as if cast under a spell. Loved it. Is there any casting news yet? I'd still love Henry Cavil for Alcide, and we need an appropriately vile and seductively pretty Debbie Pelt. It will be tough to cast a woman who has this mercenary, horrid side, yet be believable as someone who could keep a good man's attention and fancy tethered to her capriciousness. Good to "see" you all

Good Monday Morning, I know I am late in doing this, but.... a BIG thank-you to all riders that contributed to the fanfic. Everytime I think I'm caught up, another chapter pops up! You ladies truly have a wonderful way with words & so enjoyed the blending of the Eric/Godric stories. A BIG round of applause to you all! latbfan, A round of applause for you as well. I love that you are telling your story from Bills POV. Have a great day everyone, especially those who have the day off from work!

Good morning, like-mindeds, and happy Monday. dogfriend, nice to see you again. That's funny that you have Sam's picture. I've always really liked Sam. I think, when it's all said and done, at least in the books, there's a good chance Sookie will end up with him. She doesn't want to be vampire, so I don't see how a long-term relationship with a vampire would work. She's so desperate for a normal life, and Sam could offer her as close to one as she could ever have. He loves her. He's always been there for her. In #9, he seemed a bit frustrated with her, and with good reason, as Sam in the books is much more of a doormat than ST's Sam. In the books, Sookie also mentions, in every book, that she fantasizes about Sam, something I don't think she does in TB.

I just love having the train to journey on when I can find the time. You are all just wonderful and so talented in your writing. I appreciate the work and dedication you have towards your stories. Gratefully yours, dogfriend (oh, latbfan you asked me about my name once and I never answered, I started with that name because i have the dog portrait that is in Sam's office in my bedroom. It belonged to my great grandmother, but I am also a Veterinary Technician.) and ps I really like the new Bill chapter 10.

Evening all I have finally caught up on all the chapters I have missed while away. They are wonderful and enchanting and intelligent. I love how each and every author has brought something new to Godric but kept him tied together as well. Bravo to all. I hope everyone is doing well and had a lovely weekend. Take care Dumplin'

Twitche's chapter was beautiful and melancholy and made me feel like it wrapped up the Godric story. Is it the final chapter? If it is, it could not have ended the story on a better note as I for one, would rather not take Godric into the sun again.
