No they are still taping True Blood for season 2. This was just a party the cast held this past weekend. Last year, they (HBO) did host a cast wrap party. I don't believe this was one of those..
There was a big fight this past weekend in Vegas so I think the HBO execs got the idea to have the party then so they could be there for that..JMHO..LOL

dressed up~~The guys came real casual!!!!
Most guys back in the 1980 would dress up for
a fight~because they went to it before the cast
party!!!!

Bubba was always my favorite "minor" character in the books, but I guess one can see that there would have been difficulties with having that character in such a prominent series. Too bad.
