According to my schedules, TB isn't playing again until NEW YEAR'S EVE, where they'll have a complete marathon on at least 2 HBO channels (Hi-Def included). So set your alarm for 12-31 to record, Tivo or whatever. Can't beleive it's not coming on til then..geez.

Then it looks like (according to the schedule posted on HBO) after the January airing, they will be starting to air one episode a night again starting February 21st. Maybe they will show them each month till Season 2 starts. That would be nice...

Great News !!! Starting on Jan 12, HBO will be re-running the whole series on HBO Zone East and West. Check the HBO website for the Full Schedule link at the upper right hand corner of the page. -- "I can smell the sunlight on your skin"..Bill Compton

I don't have suround sound, but I have also had a difficult time hearing what everyone is thinking....

I find that my surround sound makes them echo so much I can hardly tell what they're saying, especially when there's more than two people talking. I noticed great lines while watching a Youtube version of one scene that the 'thoughts' were much clearer, that I missed on the actual TV. -- "I can smell the sunlight on your skin"..Bill Compton

Good catch tornado, I never think of turning on the closed captioning. It would help out quite a bit. -- I'm a fair, fragile flower of femininity...and if you don't believe me, I'll rip your face off!

Also, I just have to tell everyone that at certain points during the marathon, when I knew some lines were coming up, I would set my tv on Closed Caption to make sure I was hearing everything correctly. Well, so many things surprised me that I had never heard the characters say before. Like in the episode where Bill is turning/draining Jessica, as Louisa is pulling Jessica (dragging her actually) over to Bill, Jessica says, "The Lord is my shephard, I shall not want..." I never heard her say that before in all of the numerous times I had watched that scene. Plus, right as or milliseconds before Bill actually bites her neck for the first time, she calls out, "Mommy." Never, ever heard that either. So now I'm going to have to watch my dvr of that episode when everyone goes to sleep tonight and really listen for those words. I do have to say though, whoever is transcribing the Closed Caption words must also be having a hard time understanding the accents the actors use on the show. In the 3rd episode, after the Unholy Three vamps finally leave Bill's house and Sookie hands Bill the envelope with the contact info for some electrical contractors who would be willing to come out at night and give him electrical quotes, instead of the words, "electrical quotes" appearing on my screen, the words, "electrical clothes" appeared. I had a good laugh from that!!! -- Edited by tornadoeshop at 01/01/2009 6:17 PM PST

I enjoyed seeing that new commercial last night during the TB marathon where HBO applauds itself for being the network with the most Golden Globe nominations (22, I think). Then they went through most of the nominations and lastly mentioned (and showed some quick clips) from TB and also mentioned Anna Paquin as being nominated for Best Actress. They just need to do more advertising other places than on HBO, like on other channels, or magazines or have the cast appear as guests on talk shows....Come on HBO, get the word out so everyone, not just us TB fans, will know how good the show is!!!!

Since I have 4 kids I will be staying in for the evening anyway. What better way to spend the evening than curled up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and watching TB! Yay!! -- "Know this:I will die for her. If you harm her, I'll kill you." Bill turned his dark eyes on Eric. "Can you say the same?" Eric plainly wouldn't, which put him behind in the "Who loves Sookie more?" stakes. - From Dead to Worse
