Hi, I've been an RN for long time and wanted to give you my input.
Crying blood is called Haemolacria. It's a rare physical/medical condition where a person produces tears which are partially composed of blood
It can be red-tinged tears or entirely blood
It is also a symptom of several diseases, it can mean that the person has a tumor in the lacrimal apparatus. Doctors have found that most patients have one of the following conditions, bacterial conjunctivitis, damage from the environment or injuries.
Though it's rare it's not spiritual and none of the patients are Vampires

That poor family! It reminds me of the stories you see on the news sometimes about the statue of the virgin Mary that cries blood.

It's a medical condition - Haemolacria. The tear glands secrete blood mixed with tears.
