I so enjoyed the show in the states, and love the fact that so many have enjoyed the premire here in the UK. But we are starting from the begining, and can't be seeing whats going on in season 2 already. So this post is for the newcomers. Welcome to the True Blood family. I hope you will find yourself in the wonderful conversations that everyone else has enjoyed so far.
So, just to get the ball rolling, what did you think of episode one?

Hello DrakeTheDragon! Nice name!
Hey where'd my new Thread go?! I started one on Friday night after the Premiere of True Blood on FX here in the UK. I called it "The Brits are finally in Bon Temps".
Seems like our stuff can be whisked away here without warning,,, hmmm... wasn't as if I posted anything risque... and I normally like to 
I LOVED Episode One!
I wasn't sure what to expect but as I said before on the disappearing Thread, I loved Sookie's character - she's fresh, open, engaging and appealing yet no pushover! And Smouldering Bill Compton *smile* he's so intriguing.
Can't wait for the next episode.

I'm saddened to learn you're leaving us, Drake. It would be great fun to hear your impressions of True Blood as seen through British eyes. I do hope that you and Ms. Slackhose (love the name!) will return.
