Ok so I am Team Eric and would like to see Sookie with him but if that can't happen I would like to see her date Quinn and Alicide. Anyone else feel the same?

But she does have rare moments where she is good like the scene with Godric on the roof. But your right most of the time she tortures me with that terrible accent and those riduclous facial expressions of hers.

I strongly dissagree long term relationships rarely make spicy TV. Bill could still be in the show he just wouldn't be her boyfriend. And you are not alone many people do not care about the books, but the fact remains had they not been written, there would be no True Blood, End of Story.

Because, it says Humans and Vamps. cannot make the altimate connection, there is in life. Long term and serious LOVE. Plus, they are two-main characters, thus Bill would also have to have a long turn relationship, very shortly afterwards. Remember in The SERIES (I COULD LESS ABOUT THE BOOKS*) they are the only successful and FIRST LONG TERM & Serious Human & Vamp. couple. *- I do not want the series following the books. -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/06/2009 5:06 PM PDT

Not you me, I see what your saying now but I don't agree that the series wouldn't make sense with out their relationship. In the book 1 which season 1 is based on, Sookie is with Bill but in subequent books she dates others and and has a semi-relationship with Eric. If they do it right and graudully, it will work very naturally having them break up.

What do you mean did I miss something? Without the relationship the series does not make sense, they have built the entire series around what their relationship represents. Human and Supernaturals (especially Vamps.) together in the same world. -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/06/2009 2:05 PM PDT -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/06/2009 2:06 PM PDT -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/06/2009 2:06 PM PDT

What is the worst possible situation? Did I miss something? And I wouldn't stop watching if I were you I don't think that Sookie and Bill will be an item that much longer.

Thank you. That is worse possible situation, for me as viewer, then. That tells me to stop watching, because it comes down to the two-main characters remaining 50sh and their relationship 50sh.

Greatwhite, you have made some interesting points. 1. I agree about their relationship(bill and Sookie's) being very 50's style and not in a Brando sort of way either. It is like watch my grandparents when they were young, SNORE. 2. I agree that they could make Jessica and Hoyt have interesting storylines and still have them together, however because the writers have done such a poor job with Bill and Sookie's relationship IMO I have little hope that they would do any better with them.

> Greatwhite, that is not true I do want sweetness in > the show I just think they could do something more > interesting with the character of Jessica than a long > drawn out relationship with Hoyt. And Jessica and > Hoyt have gotten quite alot of air time in the show > recently. Well, that is true, recently they have been receiving a lot of attention, lately; however, their attention will fade in the background as their relationship develops (as it should). What offer sweetness is there in this series?? The answer is none. The 'Sookie & Bill' Relationship is about a stereotypical relationship as one can stand, thus all the sweetness is lost in the 50ish style relationship. She gets in trouble or volunteers to get in trouble, he or another man has to save her, while risking their lives. She wonders why 'Bill' was not there and so on and so on. That storyline has been played out a hundred times over. If he was a human, then it would be boring. Then all everyone else in the town has eviled away their sweetness (thanks to 'Maryann'). Just because 'Jessica' would develop a long term relationship with 'Hoyte' and 'Hoyte' develops a long term relationship with 'Jessica' does not mean their characters are no longer interesting and can no longer create interesting storylines for them. If Season 3 came-out and never brought their sweetness relationship back , then that would be a negative mark, in whether I continue watching the series. Before, Season 2, I would never had the need for such sweetness in the series; however, that is one of the big positives of Season 2 and the above they degraded the rest of the characters' sweetness. -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/06/2009 11:48 AM PDT

Greatwhite, that is not true I do want sweetness in the show I just think they could do something more interesting with the character of Jessica than a long drawn out relationship with Hoyt. And Jessica and Hoyt have gotten quite alot of air time in the show recently.

Oh, The Book Series, well, never mind. That is so not a good reflection on you (you want no sweetness at all in this series), I mean they are just side characters. They are not even shown enough to shape the series. -- Edited by GreatWhiteOwnerTheGWsSAs at 09/06/2009 11:09 AM PDT

Greatwhite, First off Quinn is a weretiger in the Sookie Stackhouse novels that the show is based on. He briefly dates Sookie. He has not made an appearance in the show yet. In the books he is described as being over 6 and a half feet tall with a bald head and he says Babe to her instead of using her name. I agree with you that Hoyt had every right to be angry with Jessica, if my boyfriend ever bit my mom and sucked her blood just cause she said bad things about him that relationship would be over. Mamas come first. As far as them getting back together I am on the fence. I love their relationship it is very sweet and tender but I think after awhile that the writers will have to break them up, sweet and tender is nice and all but after while it can get so stale. -- Edited by camporese29 at 09/06/2009 10:55 AM PDT

But the God's of TB (AB and > writers please hear my plea no Quinn sex. (shudders > all over and not in a good way)lol Well, I do hope AB & The Writers leave The Books behind, including Sookie's storyline. However, if you are saying the Season 2 Sookie storyline, as the main focus of the series, then I have no problem with that, as long as the Sookie character develops into more and they evolve her relationship with Bill. Not just sleep with Eric because his Blood connection with Eric (which I hated a lot) makes her want him. While, I hate the idea of watching Sookie and Bill's relation (both want it to happen) to expland to include Eric, I would accept that instead of Sookie alone doing it. Of course, I would prefer both Sookie and Bill stroyline and my watching it (sex scenes and all) Sookie and Bill's relation (both want it to happen) to expland to include a brand new woman character. A New character so that the of couples in the series are not negatively affected. I do not need the extra and unnecessary drama it creates, we have the drama of what the series is truly about humans having to deal with living in a world that supernatural beings exist.
