I really like the truth about life, and thats what this show has the guts to tell, I can sit and watch and enjoy this reality show with my boyfriend. I hope it continues, and is longer than a 1/2 hour. keep up the good work.

See above. What the ninnies don't understand is that a show (even a reality-based one) needs a moral-center, and Unscripted is filled with amoral troglodytes.

Thank God it's not being picked up. I've never met a more unlikable group of people in my life- except for Jennifer and Dragon, but ever since they got suckered in taht pyramid scheme I couldn't take them anymore either. Don't get me wrong, I was hooked. But hooked in the way a junky is hooked to heroin. The show is poison for the soul and helps you to see and believe the worst in people. Clooney and Soderbergh should remember that even Hollywood actors (might) have some redeeming qualities.

I started off finding this show ok, but if there was going to be one show on HBO about the world of showbusiness Entourage is much better than this-and that is a scripted series. This just became a bore. Krista is the typical "poor me, i used to do soft core but i really deserve break" give me a break krista-your story is so old and who's to say you deserve this chance over anyone. Brian is like cellaphane and that other chick (jennifer?) cute and talented, but forgetable. She doesn't have "it". I'll tell you who's she's like...She is like Reese Witherspoon, but Reese has "it" whatever that is. they are both cute and adorable and talented, but ever since i saw man in the moon i haven't forgotten that spunky little girl, i've seen a lot of what Jen has been in and i would never have known it if it weren't for IMDB. I watched all 10 episodes on ON Demand over the course of a couple of weeks. It was slow going at first, but by #4 things started looking up. Now I'm hooked. I care about all the characters and I want to see more happen to them. Nick, Dragon, and especially Pamela, could be developed more if others move on... So I'm sad and frustrated to see the show end, as it is better than most shows.

I LOVE this show!! I'll be really disappointed if the rumors are true. It started off a little slow, but by the 4th show, I was totally hooked! I was looking forward to another awesome HBO series. Does anyone know anything about the actor Dragon? He's really great, I think I've seen him before in something else.

are you serious they are not picking it up for another season??? i wonder if there is anything we can do because i love this show. its intriguing and i want to see what happens. i didnt really care for some of hbo's new shows like deadwood and carnivale. they are kind of bla to me. whats with the whole western theme? i cant stand that. but this show is really really good and totally deserves to have another season. i mean they took away sex and the city and soon the sopranos...the only thing worth watching now is curb your enthusiasm!

I love this show, and I have heard that HBO is not picking it up for another season. I am devastated! I have become very involved in the characters' storylines and want to see more. I am fascinated at how real the series feels, as if it were a documentary. I was not familiar with any of these actors prior to the series, but I am betting Bryan Greenberg will become a star. Please, reconsider and continue this series for a second season.

All the episodes are playing tonight and I'm watching it for the first time. I don't get it. Is the show all adlib? Unscripted means without a script, right? It's not a very good show and I just don't see a purpose for showing it. I rate this with family bonds, and belongs in the dumpster with it.

im probably alone on this board, but i hate this show. i think its trite and not entertaining at all. the characters fall flat, are uninspiring at best, and make me feel like im actually a decent human being(not a good thing). the "unscripted" aspect of it has worn thin. this doesnt compare to best in show, which revolves around the same idea of an unscripted series of events. please, please, please watch carnivale and deadwood though...i find them much more rewarding and entertaining. any of you sex and the city fans out there can take a flying fuck at the man in the moon as well.

I really hope that HBO, and everyone involved, bring the show back for more episodes. And, hopefully for more than just another six episodes. This show has really been fun to watch and discuss with others, and judging from the message boards I am clearly not alone in feeling this way. When most of what's on TV either sucks or is a lifeless variation of something done before UNSCRIPTED simply rocks. It's one of those shows you look forward to watching. It's unpredictable and entertaining. BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK! BRING IT BACK!!!!! Please! If others out there feel the same way you should let HBO know. Thanks

Call me naive but, I LOVE this show. I just caught about 5 episodes and had to log on to HBO.com to see if this was "real" or "scripted" I never saw such a real show about Hollywood. Great concept. Thanks Goerge and Steven. Heard it was hard to "make it" but never SAW how hard. It is a very painful business and I respect any actor going through the process of finding employment. (I'm surprised there isn't more of a buzz about the show) .....excellent...... EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!

So we get it. Hollywood is hard. Rejection is the name of the game. If I have to hear Goddard hark away on these points in voice over anymore, I may just punch my window out. I'm giving it serious thought. For the first several episodes, "Unscripted" blurred the line between reality and fiction perfectly. Krista is beautiful and charming and deserves a break more than most actresses who've already gotten one. Brian is bland with a personality about as vacant as most of his expressions. And Jenn's innocence is as cute and idyllic as her big round eyes. But I have to admit, I'm losing interest. Granted, I know I'll continue watching. It's not TV, it's HBO, so I know there's nothing better on the regular channels; but, like the industry and the lives of the actors/"characters", the show's becoming monotonous, repetitive, and painful. Now, I'm all for pain. I think all "Oz" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" fans are sadists at heart. But the fun of "Curb" is in predicting what will happen and then watching as something much more awkward unfolds. And with "Oz", the shock value alone is enough to keep most involved. But then there's "Unscripted", who's episodes seem to play out almost counter point to its name. You want a 'fer instance? How about when Krista flies out to New York for her "big break." We may not know how deep the sh*t will be, but we definitely know she's going to be crawling through it by the end. Why? Because rejection is real, man, and this is a real show. Translation: it's some of the most frustrating half hours that a person can watch. And I'll be damned if that frustration ain't some kinda fun on some kinda level of perversion. Despite this rant, I know I'll be a loyal watcher until the day the show is canned or the creators run out of ideas. And I know this for one simple reason. It's the same reason why reality television is still around and why most tragedies typically enjoy moderate success. People love watching other people in misery. And these characters definitely are miserable, despite my yearnings and their potential to become more. But for now, I've made peace with the fact that the show doesn't want its characters to succeed. Because if they did, the show would have nothing to complain about anymore. And the irony of George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh complaining about Hollywood is just too priceless to miss. Ever.
