Marlo,

Sociopath with a brain. Only on TV.

I think the character is a bit too unrealistic, there simply aren't people out there with the level of depravity to match their genius. Though I don't think Marlo's brilliant and absolutely evil play is realistic, I do think it makes him one of the best villains seen on tv in ...well ever? I literally grip my seat when he is in the scene with any other character since you never really know what can happen.

"You think you can have it one way? ....but it's the other way."

Unbelievable. An absolute shame that there are only 6? left until the end.

It is now official, Marlo has the crown and the Westside is back on top! Prop Joe had this coming since season 1 when he gave up Avon's pager number. He is the "Clay Davis" of the streets and it has finally caught up to him.

Prop Joe has been conspiring to take over Bmore since seasons 1 and 2. There was a reason Avon never liked nor trusted him. People think of Marlo as a street minded thug but if you go back to season 3 you will see he is very cerebral and is always a step ahead of his opposition.

Marlo has now offically retired all of the old hustlers in Baltimore and is in control. With Joe gone he can now add Slim to the team for security and also has Cheese in the fold. He has a stable of veteran soldiers to go at war with Omar.

I just cant wait until the showdown between Omar and Chris. Chris is just as calculated and roothless as Omar and most of all doesnt fear him or his shotgun. If there is one thing we have learned from this season it is that nothing lasts forever. This goes for the dealers, the law, the media, and the thieves. In the end the very thing that makes Omar strong will be his downfall which seems to be the theme of this show.

We'll have to agree to disagree. We have never seen Slim express any hatred or hostility towards Marlo. We have never seen Slim get emotional, save for the one time he slapped around the guy that was supposed to be guarding the door to Joe's spot. We agree that he's loyal, but emotional he is not. He is loyal as long as there is somebody there to be loyal to.

As for going after Joe for Butchie, that would be a direct violation in Slim's eyes. Butchie is off limits because he doesn't bother anyone, and he is guilty of nothing in this situation but being associated with Omar. He didn't sign on with Joe to be involved with that kind of nonsense. It's almost like a breach of contract, and would reflect poorly on him. That reminds me of one scene where we did see Slim get emotional, which was the time where Jerrod and Sapper (The Dusty Duo) popped off at Omar's grandmother. There we see Slim get riled up because it affects the organization's reputation. That's why Slim would have no problem going after Joe if he approved something similar. Slim can't be employed long with smudge marks on his rep from stupid kills. When they happen, he has to make them right.

In my humble opinion Marlo only cares about Marlo. When he came to Joe asking how to get various things done, I felt something was up. He is just sneaky like that, he kept jumping out there at meetings suggesting things. Cheese is a punk Marlo could care the less for him and will do away with him or just take over Prop Joes corners since he has no value for him now. Cheese was mad Prop Joe disrespected him but Joe was correct he needed to know his place. His ego all in the way and thats why in the end Marlo will be tellin him to close his eyes and breathe easy.

Funny how Avon was in jail saying F those West Side folks he basically told Marlo he could care the less for Joe or anyone else in that co-op that was not from the East Side. Slim could possibly take over because Marlo is going down. Omar is going after Chris and Snoop first, he knows Marlo is hiding and he is going to work at making him come back to the surface.

I am so sad to see this show end, I was so sleepy last nite I had to sit on the floor to stay awake because it was too good.

erry'body all caught up in Prop Joe getting merked, but yall missing the reality of if, meaning Prop Joe was a sneaky dude, that if half the ish he did had come to light before, he woulda been dead a long time ago. He was a nice guy and all, but bottom line he was out for self, and did some underhanded things to benefit him. I'm not blaming him either, but dont lose sight that he was shady, and although he got popped on some BS, what goes around does come back around, especially in the "business" he was in. With that said, ish is gonna come back around on Marlo too.

I don't think they'll team up. Slim doesn't seem like the type to take this sort of thing to heart. He and Omar are very different in that regard. I think this hunt is all on Omar. Slim may be inclined to assist in some way, but I don't see him forming a tandem with Omar. I think the idea of Marlo blaming Omar would be a stretch on his part. The Co-op has got to know that there's no way Omar could catch Joe slipping in his own house with no signs of forced entry or struggle. Hungry Man maybe, but not Joe.

I've never gotten the sense that Slim had compassion. He just follows orders. He had no problem killing that kid in Season 3. He only wish he hadn't unloaded on him so soon when he reached for his inhaler. Slim is just a services rendered kind of dude, up to this point at least.

I may be wrong on the name but it was the guy who got the numbers of the containers to grab. He worked on the computer inside.

ABOSOLUTELY RIGHT. He is one of the checkers from the docks.

I believe the the Greeks gave Marlo the okay to do Prop Joe. The writers are off the chain this year. This is one of the best series ever.

I closed my eyes when I knew it was Prop Joe's time. He was no more gangsta than the rest, except Marlo. I can't wait until he gets his. Karma is nothing to mess with man.

How can HBO or any other network come up with a show better than this?? It cant and wont happen!! (Dexter is the bomb also!!) I haven't enjoyed TV this much since Sanford and Son!! Marlo is sadistic!! Killing people because they called him a name? What kind of foolishness is that?

That was a port guy in the homeless area - but no the Sibotka kid

the other guy with the beard

what is Slim gonna do and why would method man give up Joe

You know joe could've given up meth in season 4 when Marlo was looking for answers to the big jack move Omar pulled
